I loved this episode! It marked a turning point in the story, and I felt the balance in the character relationships shift dramatically. What comes after this is competely up in the air, but ho boy, is it going to be a doozy. I can just feel it.

So things get deeper for what I’ve started calling (in my head) our 80% Couples, mostly because I like the current pairings — they seem to work well on the outside, especially in the case of Eun Soo and Joon Hyuk — but no matter what, they’re never going to breach that point of being completely together, emotionally and mentally. They are relationships that may have worked in a world where Eun Soo and Tae Joo had never met, in the absence of something deeper and more heartfelt to contrast their current lovers against. You can make up a difference of personality or �suitability� with an abundance of love… but you can’t make up a difference of love by overcompensating with other things. Which is why Eun Soo-Joon Hyuk and Tae Joo-Hye Rin are, in my mind, 80% Couples.

Ah, my Witch Amusement is back on track! (Ish.) Granted, by now I know the show isn’t what I’d hoped it would be, but this was a much more enjoyable episode than some recent ones have been. If only they could have compressed the last six episodes into two.

You guys are just too awesome. I created this blog some months ago, but I started posting in earnest with my Dal Ja’s Spring recaps — Episode 1 was posted on February 25. Just two months (and many, too many) posts later, I’m clocking 157,000+ blog hits, and perhaps even more impressive, a whopping 967 968 comments! You guys rock.

Even though I don’t really think numbers mean much, I thought 100,000th was a nice milestone to commemorate and was thinking of putting up a big music post… but I got a little sidetracked last week and now I’m up to 157,827. So this’ll have to do… Happy Friday! Fridays always seem like a particularly nice day to listen to some new, groovy music.

Taking a departure from drama-land for a while, please indulge me because I just stumbled across a new group and I’ve fallen in love. If you’ve got similar music taste as me, you’ve gotta check out this new group called HOUSE RULEZ. They’re classified as electronica, but they’re really all over the place musically, adding a fusion of techno, R&B, soul, jazz, pop, and feel-good funk to sound like an eclectic step-sibling of Epik High, Clazziquai, Pizzicato Five, Jamiroquai. Sounds like a lot, right? Well, they’re just that good.
