Comments on: Coffee Prince: Second Cup

I, too, am coming to this show WAY LATE. And, as much as I hate to do it (yeah right) I find that I keep comparing this show to Boys Over Flowers, which I guess isn’t that weird, since BoF was my first introduction to K-drama, and this is only my second K-drama.

After the first cup, I wasn’t sure if I would like this series. Now, after watching the second cup, I definitely am enjoying it. This doesn’t have the same “instant addiction” quality that BoF did, but then again, it always takes me awhile to appreciate a new kind of coffee! *lol*

Things I love about this show: The Grandmother! She’s hilarious and I adore her! Mr. Velvet Voice: um, hello, ’nuff said! I am the type of person who generally enjoys the secondary characters to the primary ones (in BoF, I was all about Yi Jung and Woo Bin!) and it’s nice to see a secondary character with a great voice get a good story line! (Wish BoF had done the same for Kim Joon…gah..HIS voice!). Ok, so yeah, those are the two things I like best about this show.

Things I dislike about this show: Eun Chan’s sister. I pretty much want to smack her in the mouth.

I will be watching “Third Cup” soon. Thank the gods for DramaFever, and thank the gods for javabeans! You guys do the god’s work, bringing K-dramas to the rest of us!

I so have a crush on HG, Mr. Voice (we all have our names XD) is kinda cool, but that’s just it. I find HG cuter. It’s kinda weird, I always like the narcissistic and self-absorbed ones :p It’s really, really weird XD

Yes, I know, I just started watching this show.. haha, a bit late. Whateves Just one question, I find it weird that Eun Cha hasn’t told Han Gyul yet about her being a GIRL! It’s odd, I mean she should be scolding him every time :p Maybe it’s because she wants the money, but I haven’t really heard anything about it.. until episode 3.. which I saw a bit from the preview^^

This ep was crazy! I mean what guy would actually pay a another guy (who looked like a minor but was actually a woman) to go around pretending to be his gay lover??

I mean seriously?

1) He’s a SHE

2) Gay factor

3) 26 yr old man with a 17 yr old boy???

But I guess thats what keeps us watching this show, despite all the out-ot-this-world stuff.
Kind of seems like anime or manga, how strange things happen yet its all normal. : >

I have to agree with you about Lee Sun Kyun’s voice. My first reaction when first hearing him was to turn the TV up. Who cared if I had no idea what he was saying. I just wanted to hear that voice. His voice is like warm caramel. My sister found him more attractive than Gong Yoo due to his voice. It’s hard to argue with her reasoning.

omg, i thought i was the only idiot who preferred the supposedly-not-as-good-looking second male lead. he is so gorgeous isn’t he, and i adore that voice of his. lords, i sound like a fangirl, but i guess im sorta. after finishing the serial, i started looking around for other shows that has him inside. i see several, but im not sure which is good. any reccomendations?
