As I suspected, the novel leaves us hanging after the surprise tongue-kiss between Han Gyul and Eun Chan and moves over to Han Sung. (Although I enjoyed reading about Han Sung, Yu Ju, and Eun Chan this chapter, I couldn’t help trying to hurry through it to get to the next one.)
Hey people, I love you and all, but will you please STOP HOTLINKING MY FILES?? I’ve gone and had to re-upload a bunch of my files already because of this.
In case you aren’t sure what that means, hotlinking is linking directly to my image or mp3 by posting it somewhere else. (Posting the image to display, that is. Posting the link is no problem.) I’m totally cool with you saving the file to your own computers, then uploading them to another server to display on your sites/blogs/forums. There are tons of free photosharing options available, like imageshack, flickr, and photobucket.
The reason hotlinking is bad is because it stresses my server and thus, this site is affected by all the bandwidth that gets siphoned away from these links. ESPECIALLY if you’re linking on a forum, particularly a highly trafficked one. Every time a page is refreshed — in any of the forums it’s posted, not just here — that takes my bandwidth. You know all these annoying error messages that occasionally pop up here? Hotlinking only makes it worse.

Don’t worry, that’s just the first scene of the episode. I’d have picked a more cheerful one, but I didn’t want to spoil anything. Even if it is the last episode so there’s not a whole lot I can spoil at this point.

I really like where they’re taking this story. I’m so pleased to discover that they’ve taken what could so easily have been a bit of fluff — cotton candy entertainment — and somehow made it thoughtful, even poignant at times.
In other kdramas, I frequently get frustrated at some of the obvious plot manipulations that could be so easily resolved with one honest conversation (I know I’m not the only one yelling at my computer screen, “Just tell her already!” or “Woman, how can you not know?!”). But here, I find myself feeling the reality of these people’s quandaries and why they feel the way they do… Particularly so in this episode.

웅산 / Woong (or Oong, or Ung) San - “아무말 말아요” (Don’t say a word). Female jazzy-blues singer, similar in style to Madeleine Peyroux, with a vocal quality that kinda reminds me of Rachael Yamagata.
