Coffee Prince: Fourteenth Cup

Cuuuuuuute.

I’m also no longer worried about the issue of familial opposition. Do I expect drama? Of course. But will it be the heart-wrenching kind? If it is, of course I’ll take it, but I’m not concerned, because Han Gyul isn’t a rebellious adolescent. He’s a mature, thoughtful, decisive 30-year-old man who’s lost enough in his life to know when something’s not worth giving up.

EPISODE 14 SUMMARY

Min Yub has been taking after Ha Rim’s playboy tendencies, which Ha Rim mentions in Eun Chan’s presence. Min Yub takes Ha Rim aside to prevent Eun Chan from hearing about it, and voices his concern about the new girl, who keeps asking for him to buy her things. At least Eun Sae would buy him things in return, but this new girl seems to just want to accept gifts.

But it’s too late, and Eun Chan has heard enough to figure out that Min Yub’s cheating around on Eun Sae. She gives him a thorough piece of her mind — she thought he was a nice guy, but from now on, he’d better not mess with her sister.

Han Gyul reports the cafe’s finances to his grandmother and takes the opportunity to show his affection after the previous episode’s rocky family issues. He’s managed to triple the sales, as promised, but when asked about his plans to leave, Han Gyul asks his grandmother, “Should I not go?”

He also meets with his father to discuss the possibility of franchising Coffee Prince. His father asks when he plans to leave, and Han Gyul answers that he’s thinking it over. His father gives him some advice: “You don’t get that many chances in life. Think about what it is you really want.”

He arrives at the cafe as Eun Chan’s busy studying about different coffee beans. She’s distracted enough that he can’t command her attention, so he vies for her notice like a little boy, and steals her notes.

They head over to have dinner with Han Sung and Yu Ju, and Han Gyul observes her familiarity with Terry with some jealousy — how often did she come by for the dog to know her so well? Eun Chan estimates it at 120 or 130 times — and at his surprised reaction, she reminds him that Han Sung’s house was on her milk delivery route. Still, Han Gyul sputters and scolds the dog, accusing it of being male (which it is); he warns Terry not to get too close to Eun Chan.

While Eun Chan and Han Sung tend to the barbecue, Yu Ju and Han Gyul talk inside. Yu Ju notices how Han Gyul’s changed toward her: “You know, your feelings for me left a long while ago.” She points out that if he’d truly liked her, he would have pursued her regardless of Han Sung, but he didn’t:

Yu Ju: “But you loved Eun Chan even thinking she was a guy. I’ve been thinking about what I was to you, and I figured I was—”
Han Gyul: “A habit?”
Yu Ju: “Yeah. An empty habit without substance. The feelings inside had disappeared long ago, with only its façade left intact and standing. You should be really thankful to Eun Chan, for bringing life to an empty shell.”

The foursome make a toast to being happy and not fighting, and immediately, Han Gyul starts to pick on Eun Chan playfully. She picks up her wineglass and clinks his, toasting again (“No fighting”) rather than responding to his teasing.

Playfulness leads to bickering between Yu Ju and Han Sung, which somewhat alarms Eun Chan, who thinks they’re having a real fight. (It starts when Yu Ju asks Han Gyul how he found out about Eun Chan being a girl, and Han Gyul warns everyone not to bring up her “lying incident,” since they were all in on it together. Han Sung counters that a “lying incident” is better than a “betrayal incident,” to which Yu Ju retorts that she’s not the only one who did the betraying. They start nitpicking about who’s more at fault, until Han Gyul breaks it up, saying Eun Chan will think they’re being serious.)

Han Sung: “Hey, Choi Han Gyul, you watch your mouth too. Don’t let me catch you calling Yu Ju ‘dangshin’ [affectionate term for ‘you’] anymore. It makes me feel bad, you know.”
Yu Ju: “You too, don’t call Eun Chan ‘that cute kid’ either, it makes me feel bad too.”
Han Gyul [to Eun Chan]: “Hey, don’t call him ajusshi either. It makes me feel bad.”

As Eun Chan drinks more wine, Han Gyul pats her on the head affectionately — he is too giddy being with Eun Chan and it is a-dor-a-ble.

On their drive home, Eun Chan wonders if they’ll ever reach a point like Han Sung and Yu Ju, acting like they’re fighting one moment, laughing the next.

Ha Rim talks to Sun Ki about his situation with that woman, and here’s where we are with that story: Sun Ki met the woman when she worked for his father’s waffle place. He was in love with her silently for three years before confessing, while she had an abusive husband and a child. One snowy night, someone knocked on his door, and it was her, barefooted and lost in shock. Her drunk husband had beaten her, and she was huddled over, trembling. Just then, the husband came, drunk and furious, and beat Sun Ki so hard he fractured three ribs. Ha Rim can’t believe Sun Ki didn’t fight back, but Sun Ki says, “It was obvious that if I hit back, it would harm her more later.”

So the woman fled to Korea to escape her husband, and Sun Ki came to follow her. Ha Rim: “But you said that woman doesn’t like you. What are you gonna do about that?” Sun Ki: “I can be happy just being able to see her, do you get that?” Ha Rim, of course, does not.

Eun Sae hears that Min Yub is cheating around on her and makes the swift decision to cut him out of her life. Eun Chan’s mother hears Mr. Gu’s sick and brings him porridge — and when he tells her he’s decided to get over his feelings for her, you can see from her fidgeting that she’s disappointed. It’s funny, actually, that both ladies are guilty of taking their men for granted. However, the moment Eun Chan’s mother extends the teeniest hint that she’s not uninterested, Mr. Gu perks right up. (He apologizes for being so clinging and annoying, and being so talkative when she says she finds it irritating. But then, she concedes that she likes talkative guys more than silent ones.)

Yu Ju’s initial reaction to finding out she’s pregnant is alarm, but she accepts it rather quickly, and I’m vastly relieved that they didn’t decide to drag out her pregnancy story as a source of artificial drama. Aside from being a forced cliché, it’s refreshing to have things play out in a way that isn’t overblown or exaggerated, and still prove to be dramatically interesting. This is something that can be said of Coffee Prince on the whole, actually.

She goes into a baby-clothing store while Han Sung talks on the phone, and sends him a text message with the simple note: “We’re going to have a baby,” with an attached photo of her ultrasound. Han Sung mouths to her excitedly, “Really?” Yu Ju mouths back, cradling a baby doll, “Shh, it’s sleeping.”

While out on a delivery run, Han Gyul drops by home to change clothes, and brings Eun Chan to see his grandmother and mother. Eun Chan keeps his grandmother company while Han Gyul has a moment with his mother.

Han Gyul tells her he first knew of his birth mother years ago, when he found out his adopted mother was observing his birth mother’s death memorial rites. He asks why she did that (it’s a courtesy above and beyond the expectations for an adoptive mother), and she answers, “She gave birth to you. How could I ignore it?” She tells Han Gyul that from now on, he should participate, and bow in respect to his birth mother (the concern is that it would be disrespectful to his adopted mother if he observed rites for his birth mother, but she’s telling him it’s okay). She says it’s a chance for her to be proud that she raised the woman’s son well.

In Han Gyul’s room, Han Gyul unnerves Eun Chan by staring at her intensely and saying he likes the feeling of being alone with his girlfriend in his room while the adults are outside. Uncomfortable at the romantic tension, Eun Chan defuses the situation by pushing him aside playrfully.

Although Han Gyul’s mother and grandmother treat Eun Chan nicely still thinking she’s a boy, they startle when Han Gyul informs them she’s a girl. After the initial moment of denial, Han Gyul’s grandmother sees the way Han Gyul is looking after Eun Chan, and demands to know if they’re dating. Han Gyul holds Eun Chan’s hand and answers that they are.

His grandmother has a huge fit, yelling at him for having lost his mind. He rejected all those girls she’d arranged him to meet, and for this? She accuses Eun Chan of affixing herself to Han Gyul to pursue his money, and Han Gyul rises to Eun Chan’s defense, telling his grandmother she’s being harsh. She yells at Han Gyul: “You! Get this thing out of here immediately!” If he’s going to date a girl like Eun Chan, he’d better pack his things and leave for the States immediately, to which Han Gyul responds that he may not leave anyway. He takes Eun Chan by the hand and leads her away, while his grandmother sputters in fury.

Han Gyul can’t believe his grandmother’s strong words, but Eun Chan actually defends her, saying he overreacted by yelling back: “Mothers and grandmothers are naturally like that. Why? Because they think, my son is the best.”

Still, she does feel bad, and says his grandmother was really harsh. She asks why he said he might not leave for New York, and he answers that he’s thinking it over. Eun Chan: “Is it because of me?” Han Gyul: “Hey, do you think I’m a guy who gives up a dream because of a girl?” Eun Chan suggests that while he’s thinking it over, he might as well give her a piggyback ride. After all, she’s carried him a bunch of times already. (Purely on a superficial level, I’ve never seen a guy carry a girl so effortlessly before. It’s strange. And cute.)

Aquibird – “Different World” ::

Han Gyul looks over his letter inviting him to be a designer at the toy company… and folds it into a paper airplane, sending it sailing over the roof and down into the street below. (Song: Low-End Project’s “연애를 망친 건… 바로 나라는 걸 알았다,” posted on song page under episode 8.)

Han Sung marvels over the ultrasound picture, trying to identify every little part. Yu Ju asks how he likes it, and he answers that he feels the baby is a gift from god, but he’s also nervous. Yu Ju feels the same, explaining that at first she wondered if she could bring a life into the world, but when she asked herself if she could give it up, she couldn’t. Han Sung tells her, “Yu Ju, thanks for making me a father.” Yu Ju thanks Han Sung, too.

He asks if they should marry. Of course, they could raise the child without being married, but what would they tell him or her when asked why his parents weren’t married, or why they didn’t live together? Yu Ju asks what he would tell the child, and Han Sung replies: “I only have one answer. Ask your mother, I don’t know.”

Han Gyul’s mother and grandmother arrive at the cafe without warning to grill Eun Chan alone while Han Gyul’s meeting his father to discuss franchising options. Grandma asks if they’ve promised to marry, and Eun Chan responds: “Is that what you were worried about? Please don’t worry, I’m not even dreaming about marriage yet.” She’s a little young to be thinking of that, and for the moment, they’re happy dating.

Then, Grandma demands to know if she’s after Han Gyul’s money. Because Han Gyul is so soft-hearted, he was probably swayed by pity, and it’s better to cut things off now: “How much money will it take?”

Eun Chan: “Grandmother, although I like having money, I’m not stupid enough to marry for money. And I do like him, but it’s possible we could break up after dating a while.”
Mother: “You could break up?”
Grandma: “Where’d he find a thing like this?… Tell me, are all youngsters like you? Is it that easy to date and break up?”
Eun Chan: “I’m not saying it’s easy, but if he goes to America, I won’t be able to see him for a while. What I mean is that I don’t know what will happen. Right now, separating is an idea I hate to death, but you both want us to split up. Even so, if I can’t change my mind, how can I break things off? Right now, I can’t do that—”
Han Gyul: “I can’t either.”

Out of nowhere, Han Gyul appears, solemn-faced and firm.

Taking his family aside, Han Gyul announces that he’s not going to New York. When asked if it’s because of Eun Chan, he answers, “I can’t say that it’s not.” Grandma says no matter what, Eun Chan won’t do, but Han Gyul reasons, “You’d say that about whomever I brought to see you.”

“You’re both getting too far ahead of yourselves. I’m not thinking along those lines, but if you talk like tthat, it makes me want to get married right away. Mom, don’t you know my personality? I won’t listen to you. If you tell me not to do something, I do it more, so it’s better if you just leave me be.”

Meanwhile, Eun Sae exacts her revenge on the thick-headed Min Yub, who’s a bit drunk on his recent success with the ladies. Or lady. Eun Sae tells him in a down-spirited, saddened tone that she realized too late how much Min Yub meant to her. He likes hearing it, of course, and you can see he’d go back to her in a heartbeat, but Eun Sae continues that she wanted to see him one last time for a formal farewell. With that, she plants a kiss on him, then walks away, leaving him all a-flutter. Keke. Yes, she can be a brat, but Min Yub kind of had this one coming.

Han Gyul: “What did you tell my grandmother?”
Eun Chan: “I said not to worry, that it’s possible we could end up breaking up.”
Han Gyul: “You sound like someone who’s decided to break up with me.”
Eun Chan: “Then what should I have said in that situation? That I’d never break up, that I’d definitely marry you? It’s not like I want to make her collapse. I sure acted out a drama today. Why are they acting like that? I’m pretty valued in my family, you know. Are you so impressive? Still, I guess this might be the last time, since after you leave for New York—”
Han Gyul: “I’m not going.”

Surprised, she asks why not, and he notes her seeming lack of enthusiasm. Does she want him to go? She answers no, but she just worries that he decided only because of her:

Han Gyul: “It’s not because of you, it’s because of me. Because of the me that loves you. I don’t want to go to the US and whine and moan about how much I miss you — that’s humiliating. It’s better if I don’t go.”

Eun Chan: “You’re really not going because of me?”
Han Gyul: “Yeah.”
Eun Chan: “Really, really? Because of me? Because you love me?”

Ha Rim interrupts, and they both unceremoniously tell him to get lost.

You know, I keep on thinking this and I kind of hoped and wished you'd mention it but I guess it's just me looking too deep into everything. The very simple fact that we see HG and YJ together while HS and EC was playing outside set the tone for their relationship- the trust is amazing. This episode was toned down a lot, and I can see why some people might say it was more or less not what they expected. Just like everything in Coffee Prince, the characters, the settings and the issues are dealt in what I call "real-life" time. The situations are handled one step at a time and that is the appeal of CP. A mixture of the reality in reality tv and dramatization of a very, very well organized and scripted drama. I also feel like I'm spying on these people's personal lives!
"Aside from being a forced cliché, it’s refreshing to have things play out in a way that isn’t overblown or exaggerated, and still prove to be dramatically interesting. This is something that can be said of Coffee Prince on the whole, actually."
I completely agreed with you, and without even knowing, I smiled when I read it to myself. Thanks for your summaries (which I religiously read) and your thoughtful insights on things. Okay, sorry I typed too much. Addicted and willing to marry CP!

Woot~!! The first paragraph already blew me away. Fantastic writing. As for the episode, I think they should've incorporated a dating trip for those two like those that happen in kdramas when the main couple finally finds out their feelings for one another. In that a bicycle ride takes place where the girl hops behind the bike while the boy drives her around the park as autumn leaves brush their faces. Haha. joke~!!

Thank you for another wonderful recap.. I agree the show isn't as intense anymore however i think it's because it becoming more realistic.. As the main couple's relationship has reached the next step (most cases it's the stability).. Han Gyul continues to impress me (minus the assaulting kiss on episode 11).. I loved how he said “It’s not because of you, it’s because of me. Because of the me that loves you. I don’t want to go to the US and whine and moan about how much I miss you — that’s humiliating. It’s better if I don’t go.” Like a true mature person .. I'm happy to see more glimpse of Sun Ki's life (Kim Jae Wook is so cute).. He's truly an interesting character (my ideal guy personality).. There wasn't preview of next episode I wonder what will happen next.. However from the 2nd episode we saw Han Gyul was dreaming of his wedding with Eun Chan .. I wonder if we'll see any wedding in this series..

Now .. off topic.. I've watched time of dog and wolf .. well I can't say you missed much by not watching .. It's more of a summer blockbuster type series .. with car chase, blowing up stuff, shooting etc (even a top heavy heroin who's desperately chasing for Lee Jun Ki's love/attention while he's focused on his "job").. There wasn't anything original (including LJK getting amnesia) .. As much as I love Lee Jun Ki I don't think this series is "it" .. Although he wanted to lose his "pretty boy" image by taking up this role .. But other than that I don't think it's worth anything..

PS: I'm impressed with Gong Yoo's wardrobes in Coffee Prince (whoever is the stylist has a good sense of fashion) .. It's very sophisticated with a touch of Europe .. The most horrible wardrobes were Bi's in full house (sorry red pants kill me) and Jae Hee's in Delightful Girl Choon Hyang (as much as I loved the series) I hated their outfits..

wow you posted early today....
finally i was able to watch it full last without getting bumped out from the server... and i say 14th cup was amazingly romantic... and we're down to the last 3 episodes... i truly love this drama and i've said that a million times already... but wouldn't it be nice if there will be season 2 ha ha wish list again... or maybe another drama with them together again... i've been watching "HARDTACK TEACHER and SUGAR CANDY" while waiting for coffee prince -- Gong Yoo is a really good actor -- his acting in hardtack was truly amazing -- all out i can say -- at first i didn't like the girl who played opposite with GY,well in my mind right now there's only YEH for him and no one else (ha ha)...
I hope there'll be another drama with the this type of drama - i mean light and comic...

Another hardwork Javabeans... THANK YOU SO MUCH! it's going to be another long week till the next episode... Have a great week javabeans! Fighting!

ohhhhhh javabeans i just love your translations it's like i am watching the drama. it seems like everything is going smooth sailing for Han Gyul and Eun Chan, even Han Sung and Yu Ju are getting along together with the baby news and stuff. but you know something major has to happen to bring back the drama that we all love. because we don't really know if Han Sung is the father of Yu Ju's baby (no mention of how long in her pregnanacy she is), and if Han Gyul is really going to stay in Korea and if his family will accept Eun Chan. thanks for the translations :D.......

-PS i notice in the scene with Han Shun and Yu Ju where she lets him know about the baby. you have it as she is telling Han Gyul instead of Han Shun. also in the scene when Han Gyul's mother and grandmother visit the coffer shop. you have as "Han Shun's mother and grandmother" not Han Gyul. these things didn't bother me because i knew actually who you were really speaking about, but for some people who don't know they might get confuse. but anyways keep up the good work i really appreciate the hard work that you do for us kdramas lovers. JAVABEAN FIGHTING!!!! :D

Omg this recap is perfect, thanks so much for it!! This is the 3rd consecutive happy episode, which has got to be some kind of record-breaking for Korean dramas haha. I'm sooooo pleased.

I love it so much I can't think of what to say. Hahaha. But I am glad though to see that there's no lingering mistrust between the four! I also love it that Eun Chan didn't fit completely into the (old) group's dynamics, with their snarky jokes and teasing. She's definitely significantly younger than the three, and naturally it'll take them some time to adjust to this new member - it's not uncomfortable, though, and I think they're creating a new group dynamic that will bring them into another era in their lives.

Haha this drama is also bringing me into a new era of my life omg last night for the first time ever I streamed live and I was squeeeeing so excitedly about watching the same thing at the same time as people in Korea (with my earphones on) that my mum was like wtf and I didn't hear her at all haha. And looking at your summary, I can't believe how much of the dialogue I actually understood. Omg I'm so happy!

I don't think I can ever get enough of the cuteness of Eun Chan-Han Gyul scenes. Last night left me with a dazed smile throughout school today and everyone was like yo, wassup with you, and I just giggled to myself. Oh dear. It's cute how Eun Chan was going mad over Han Gyul's baby photos and plays it down when he comes in before giving in and begging for a particularly cute one. Love it when Han Gyul's like this feeling of knowing all the adults are in and I'm alone in my room with my girlfriend is great... And that piggyback ride surpassed all other piggyback rides in k-drama history; I love how he made like he was trying to shake her off, but still waited for her to clamber back on when she slipped. Everyone seems to carry each other effortlessly in this drama, see Min Yub and Harim! Haha

Their playful stage kiss at the end, and the last dramatic dip all feels so natural! And the way they try to get each other's attention.. oh man they must have caught onto my mp3 recording habits because so many awesome scenes in this episode required lip-reading! I actually thought Han Gyul said 예쁘지 and Han Sung replied 아주 귀여워 but I think you're probably right cos I thought I saw 나쁘지 then I couldn't figure out an appropriate answer from Han Sung. And Han Gyul's ecstatic silent aaaaaa is just soooooo cute.

Another thing I like is some semi-meta bits... like Eun Chan's reference to Han Gyul's "military service" in the previous episode, Eun Sae claim ages ago for Jongguk oppa to wait for her, and here, when Eun Chan's saying it's like acting out a drama here heh :P

The development of minor characters here was also timely, since there is only so much cuteness you can take before it becomes overload (they're controlling it really well. I mean 3 episodes is as far as I know unprecedented but within the episodes they know what we want) I think Eun Sae's revenge is funneh. Harim is the funniest ajumma-like-thing ever, at first he sensibly counsels Eun Chan to let Han Gyul pursue his dreams, now he's saying wow you're taking it remarkably well, before proceeding to voice his worries about the extremely HOT American girls, with their GORGEOUS faces and their BOOBS, omg. Luckily Eun Chan had the presence of mind to beat him up. And I love seeing Han Sung's reaction to Yu Ju's news. There was no hesitation at all, just a stunned disbelief, and extreme happiness.

And my favourite favourite awesomest tiny-moment but awesome bit is when Han Gyul's mother told his father about Eun Chan, and his reaction is just to laugh. (It was a comfort to see he was capable of laughing afterall. Also about time we saw some of the dynamics of this couple) I think it just shows how far they'll come and it is very very reassuring; Han Gyul's decided not to go to the US now, out of his own accord, and there's no preview so no one knows what's going to happen next, but whatever it is? I'm not scared.

Right, so much for not having anything to say -_-

What more can I say that hasn't already been said? Thank you once again for your summaries. I enjoy watching Coffee Prince more so after your insights because as a Filipino there may be some things I'd misinterpret watching it raw. But isn't it great despite our cultural differences so many of us are brought together by this drama. Hope somebody organizes an international conference on Asian dramas in the future. I would definitely attend just to get a chance to hear you speak!

Okay, I changed the post regarding whatever it is that Han Gyul mouthed. I'd like to think he said 예쁘지 because of its context, but my eyes just won't see it. I swear I've rewound that bit dozens of times and I want to see 예쁘지 but I don't, so I'll leave that open for the viewer to fill in for themselves.

i too had a dazed smile on my face the entire time (reading this summary). ahh, my heart. i know that when this drama ends, i would need some recovery time; i will so miss it. so many things to love. not the least of all the non-physical change of Eun Chan after she and Han Gyul starts dating. she's not turned into a foxy lady; she's just Eun Chan, only a whole lot in love.

thank you, javabeans.

By the way, I like the scene where in Han Gyul and Ha Rim where fighting because Ha Rim kept calling Eun Chan, "My Chan" and Han Gyul replied, " What my chan, she is my chan not yours!" (translation kinda close to what is suppose to be said)

Thanks for the great detailed summaries. I've enjoyed reading them and they've really added to my understanding of the episodes since I don't know korean. Love both YEH and GY. They are both so good in their roles. I have not been this hooked on a drama since Goong. If you are looking for a drama to watch, I highly recommend watching (and recapping One Fine Day with GY). I recently started watching portions of it on youtube, but would really appreciate recaps of each episode.

I love where the scriptwriter is bringing the story. I agree with EC when she said, she's pretty special in her family and what's so special about HG anyway. So unkdrama like lines and story. Love it. I think i've watched hundreds already where i know where the endings will lead, but CP is leaving me in tenterhooks. Great job Javabeans =). thanks for everything =).

WOOPEE!! I LOVE this drama!!! NO crying fits, no shouting at the computer because of a character. No fast-forwarding to the last episode to find out if it is going to end sad after watching 3 sad endings in 3 other dramas in a row. *Sigh* I'm completely satisfied. :-) JAVA THANK YOU!!

PS.
We Should have a Coffee Prince convention. (^_^)OR at least an Asian Drama/Movie convention. YAY!! Plus the Bollywood people have done it in the US so we get to see Indian starts at these conventions so why not Asian Drama/Movie? It would be easy! How do you think the Star Trek convention started? We can start with just a few people. Get a hotel to give a discount for renting a hall and for getting people to stay at the hotel. Have local Korean artists sing, try to get one or 2 stars from a drama sign pictures talk to people and have several of these companies sponsor it like broasia.com yesasia.com so that the dramas could be sold, music and such....

(SLAAAPPP!!!) I'm awake now, I've stopped dreaming...

(I'll start saving money now) (*_*)

nite!

Thanks for the summary, i love your site! :)
I love the kind of relationship that Han Sung and Yu Ju have... I really admire how grown up and realistic their relationship is that they can have misunderstandings and arguments but still be so right for each other... And they're going to have a baby! I'm so happy for them!!!
Min Yub and Eun Sae are a really cute couple too! Min Yub is one ffiiiinnnee male... I love how Eun Sae got back at him...Hahahha...
Eun Chan and Han Gyul are really sweet to each other now!!! (not that they weren't before, but it's not in a i-might-be-homo way...) Gong Yoo really has impressed me in this series.

First time commenting.... great blog for a great series, javabeans. I really like this episode's music selection. Sondre Lerche? Ahh, more and more like Soulmate, isn't it? You're a lifesaver for non-Koreans like me. Am I the only one who is wondering when Eun Chan is going to dress more feminine? It's good to see that she is able to be her(old)self, but part of me just want to see YEH in a dress with full make-up on at least once more by the end of episode 17. *__*
You're absolutely a one-of-a-kind gem, javabeans! You're just lovely. Thank you for continuing to do this.

hey, actually i was thinking the same thing as justine, that you might like that show 9 end 2 outs. i'm not asking for summaries, i can understand it all. it kind of reminds me of soulmates a little bit, which is why i'm making the recommendation. give it two episodes, i was on the fence until after episode two. then i started really liking it. i may love it, eventually, but obviously not as much as coffee prince.
