the legend of Shim Cheong was made into a cartoonish movie in 2005, entitled "Wanghu Shim Cheong ", or in English ('coz I think it was released in the English-spokening world) "Empress Chung" (which is half wrong since "wanghu" means like "queen"; "empress", I think "hwanghu"...half right since the English-speakening world calls a royal girl her "royal title" then her first name...)

by the way, I think Hyang-dan jeon was performed well into the Qing Dynasty (the last Dynasty of China...think of Pu Yi...) (oh BTW, Hong Gil-dong was also on the Qing Dynasty since I saw one of the flagmen waving a flag with the character of Qing ("Cheong" in Sino-Korean terms))

Can someone explain what "GanggangSullae" means? It's interesting because... there's a Korean restaurant near my house which has that name. (huh what's so interesting about that?) - but that phrase is the only one not translated in that 'mask dancing' procession.
