Jae Hee’s back!

This time, though, he takes on the role of MC for the M.net cable program X-Boyfriend Season 2, which kicks off its run on October 26. When asked if there are any other MCs whose paths he’d aspire to, Jae Hee answered that he’d like to be like the ever-popular MC of MBC’s Ultimate Challenge, Yoo Jae Soek (who’s hosted tons of other variety programs, including X-Man and Love Letter).

Jae Hee said, “When I watch Ultimate Challenge, I think to myself that the shooting must be so crazy. … My goal is to be like Yoo Jae Seok, who hosts so entertainingly.” He also compared his style with prior host, actor Jang Geun Seok: “If Jang Geun Seok’s emceeing was like running on asphalt, mine will have the feel of running on a mountain path.” And no, I’m not exactly sure what that means.

    My heart skipped a beat when I read the title..
    I really thought he’s gonna act in a new drama.. which really makes me excited (if that’s the case) because I really like him as an actor. Too bad Witch Yoo Hee just spoilt it for him..

    I hope he does well as a Host..

    Ha, I also find his scarf a less-than-thrilling look, but I’m just glad he’s not looking as waifish and ajumma-y as he did in Witch Amusement. coolio, yep the first two are new pics, and the last two are not. akon, i don’t watch variety shows regularly, i just catch them from time to time. i used to watch the old X-Man because the Dangyunhaji (of course) game was pretty fun (wordplay’s always interesting) and Yashimanman is good when an interesting celebrity is on because it’s more of a fun conversation show, not a game-dance-flirting-spastic-trendy-variety show. I do agree with Jae Hee in that Yoo Jae Seok is a great MC, so anything he hosts tends to be fun to watch.

    Overall, it’s good to hear Jae Hee will be back on television, but I think he’s got so much potential as a serious actor that anything else he does is a waste of the time he could be acting instead…

    amabelle, I haven’t watched much Love Letter but I caught it a few times and Yoo Jae Seok was hosting. Kang Ho Dong may have also been there.

    Jae Hee is indeed an excellent actor and he’s got great charisma, love to watch his facial expressions and he’s got a GREAT smile!
    He comes across as really sincere, kind and humble.
    Would love to see him act again.
