Cha Tae Hyun’s baby blues

Aw, cute.
Film and TV actor Cha Tae Hyun is set to become a first-time father at the end of this year, and he’s voiced a rather unusual concern: that his baby will look just like him. Hee.
Lim Chang Jung (who’s also expecting a baby, his second, in a few months) appeared the MBC program Imaginary Best Friend (airing on the 11th) and mentioned meeting Cha Tae Hyun recently and discussing their impending fatherhoods. Cha Tae Hyun’s reaction to a recent ultrasound was, “The baby’s head is two weeks ahead in terms of development, but its legs are a week behind. At this rate, I worry he’ll end up looking like me.”
I’d never really been a huge Cha Tae Hyun fan until I saw the drama series Flowers For My Life earlier this year. (If you’ve been reading this site for a while, you’ll know how much I absolutely adore that series. It’s one of the best dramas I’ve ever seen — witty, poignant, darkly funny.) He’s never been considered a hottie, and he’s made his career playing slightly awkward, bumbling characters. That self-deprecating humor is present in his acting and, it seems, now also in real life. Congrats and good luck to Mr. Cha~~

First of all, a note to sarah~~ your blog's my daily addiction now!! XD Can't live a day without clicking on it.. even if the entries aren't entirely to my interests, I'll just look thru and post whatever I can..haha..I guess this adds up to the addiction thread you've just posted eh? :P
Anywayz, congrats to Cha Tae Hyun! Becoming daddy soon! And it's really funny of him to be so concerned of his baby's looks..hahaha..

Aw, I think Cha Tae-Hyun is plenty cute. I first saw him in "My Sassy Girl" and I thought he was pretty good looking. It didn't come into my head for years later that he was considered "ugly." Well, maybe 'ugly' is too harsh. Haha, but I'm sure his child will be really cute. He looks like he'll be a good dad. =]

It's 2012 and I can tell you now, Cha Taehyun is a good looking man. Maybe he's no Kang Dong-won (so hot), but I find him good looking. I love how he's downright funny.

That's so cute! I've never been a big fan of his, especially his "akward, bumbling characters" either. But I did like Into the Sunlight years ago (one of his few non-comedic roles) with a young Jang Hyuk, Kim Ha Neul, and Insoon's Kim Hyun Joo.

i actually find him very charming... good looking, but in a goofy way...congrats to him...and i'm sure his baby is gonna be just as adorable as he is...

I've always enjoyed films and dramas starred in by this actor . He has perfect timing, good facial expressions to match his antics and he can turn any action funnier than fun and sadder than sad . And he gets paired with beauties ,too .

i kinda like Cha Tae Hyun in My Sassy Girl.
He ma not be good looking @ 1st glance but his charm is more of a down to earth kind & he's no doubt a talented actor too. Hope to catch more of his films !
