I’m just a little disappointed with what they did with the ending of the drama. So bitterness it left to my heart. It’s like they did not think, feel, or even assessed what should have at least happen to the prince. They hurried the story with no good credits at all. All the actors are good, the screenplay. In the beginning, I enjoyed it a lot. But the ending nearly had me throw my television.

I couldn’t agree more. JO HYUN JAE is non pareil as far as prince/king/nobleman roles are concerned. he holds the patent for that role, IMHO. Having said that, I am still glad that JO HYUN JAE dropped out of HGD. After playing the lead role in a great sageuk like SEO DONG YO, it would be anticlimactic for him to appear in a mediocre sageuk drama like HGD.

now i have see this “hong gil dong”.

and i love it.

the actor and actress are perfect in her/his role.

i have never notice kang ji hwan in any role but now i think he is really sweet.

i hope i see him in more dramas.

does anyone knows whetever there is a 2. season?

i fell in love with Kang Jihwan after Kyungsung Scandal. He’s a very believable actor.. He’s so charming too.

Even though I like Jo Hyun Jae and Joo Ji hoon also, I find Kang Ji hwan better for the role. He’s so Hong Gil Dong. He owns the role. Love it!!!
