Oh, it’s not funny-absurd that celebrity couple Kim Jung Eun and Lee Seo Jin (who started dating around the time they were both acting in the SBS drama Lovers) were spied on a date, or that this candid photo is quickly making the internet rounds (the couple has been noted for not caring too much about hiding their public dates or displays of affection). What’s funny-absurd is that this is also the official picture used by the media in reporting the story:
Notice the little pink floaty hearts? HA. Must’ve been drawn on by a romance-minded fan.
Anyway, in case you couldn’t recognize the couple from that grainy pic (taken at an Italian restaurant), here’s what they look like normally, in full lighting and posing pretty for the cameras:
And, of course, now the media as well as shippy fans are drawing all sorts of meaning from the simple photo, like how it must mean so much that they’re out on a rare free day for Lee Seo Jin, who’s busy filming the historical drama Yi San, and how comfy and normal they look together. Wow! The next thing you know, they’ll be saying celebrities are REAL PEOPLE! Who date! And eat! And leave the house without makeup! (Okay, that last one might be a little rarer than the rest.)

i’m just wondering why are they making such a big deal about them dating in public and showing public affection? they already admitted to the public that they are dating, so why are they being scrutinize for dating in public? what’s the big deal? oh well.. i think they are a cute couple! I don’t like either actor on a personal level but I do admit they are both good actors. I don’t know why but I really loved that fact that they started a real life romance. They seem like a good match…unlike when he was with Lee Hyori. Not only are they both good actors but they are both from well to do families…match made in Korean heaven.

I liked Kim Jung Eun in Lovers In Paris. She was funny there. She’s pretty too.
i like seeing hard working people enjoying themselves. being in love and happy is not a bad thing.
ahhhhhh…. i’m really pleased of their coupling. It was so transparent in “Lovers”. Funny why they korean papparazi made note of this for I was just missing the couple last weekend & resorting to watching(Lovers again) and surfing for some news about them. Great minds, think alike?

Love the OST too, although it was old & borrowed, I love “Gohae” and the song Kang Jae sang to Mi-joo in Kang reung beach scene.

I knew something would happen to them right from the beginning of Ep 1 of Lovers. Their chemistry was just sooo intense and REAL.. was so happu when they finally made announcement. hehe…
Even I who knows nothing about Korean celebrities news, thought that the two had some intense chemistry between them in that show. That picture with the hearts makes me shudder …
curious girl, I think part of the fascination with this couple (other than the fact that they’re celebrities) is that they’re not being coy like many other celebrity couples. Well, they did deny it at first, saying they were just friends. But they’re not hiding now, and they don’t seem to care if other people see them on dates together, which is fascinating for a gossip-loving public. I don’t really like either actor much (remnants of Lovers distaste) but I do think the pair is well-matched.
I love them in LOVERS, i truly belived it was a diferent kind of drama not to mention the hottes sex scene i have seen in korean, hell asian dramas, I really like the couple they make, i even heard they are gettin married, THANKS a lot for posting this news.
of course celebs eat, live, drink, and date just like us ordinary people. heehee what’s really the big deal.. and what’s with the pink fluffy hearts?!? LOL.

They sure look great and hope their romance will blossom into marriage. Many celebrity romance has turn sour due to media pressure and it’s sad.
Sometimes fans and the media don’t treat them as humans and give them the breathing space they desperately need.
