my copy always refers to Heo (or should I say, Ryu) Yi-nok as a “stupid girl” (I think “eong-jeong-i”…)…

w/c is so funny since the two male leads (Jang-hwi or hui… and Gil-dong) refer her as that…

BTW, have you all noticed that Second State Councilor (blame all that on my copy) Seo always mutters (also in my copy) “I AM THE CORE OF ALL POWER”…

OMG, the “bidness” (good one Susie Q) in the river discussion is funnier than the gag itself! I found the scene funny while watching because, as a nanny, I have seen that shiver several times – from babies in diapers to little boys who could stand up to pee. Never seen it from a girl though! And I can totally see someone “shoo” away their PEE and I can totally understand HGD looking down at the infected water flowing towards his feet and being disgusted.
LOL, I just remembered when I was young enough to take a bath with my little brother, he left a present in the tub but I didn’t know it til the water was drained. HAHA! If only he had shivered or shoo’d. Come to think of it, my reaction was alot like HGD’s.
Ahhh, forgive me for reminiscing! kekekeke

Thanks for the recap! I had assumed it was pee, too, since I can’t imagine taking a dump underwater. So, I rewatched the scene, and no matter how many times I replay it, I can only see the leaves floating by, and the round shadow shapes next to his foot look like shadows/natural formations or indentations of the rock underneath. The script doesn’t seem to be available yet, so no help there. I bet this is a first in kdrama discussions – dissection of toilet gag scene. LOL!

Anywho, the series keeps getting better, especially as the plot unfolds. Ep.4 is even better! The chemistry between HGD and Enok is great.
Thanks for pointing out the catchphrases. I noticed the theme song in the first episode – the rock rhythm & lyrics match the show well. Do you have it?

i would just have to say that i totally enjoyed this drama much better than robbers. i love robbers for the lead but the story is leading me no way. the leads for robbers have improved tremendously though, from their last drama. i hope to continue to see the improvement. but for HGD, i never know what i’m going to get and i’ve been seriously amused by wat i’ve seen so far and i’m LOVING IT! @_@

Thanks for the recap! I thought it was super funny when Yi Nok was flipping her hair in the water and he was attracted to, well, that. lol. I can’t wait until the next episode! xD
