Hm, could you please enlighten me, as to why CH prefers to give hints abt his feelings for Yi Nok instead of a direct declaration? (when he knows that she is a clueless person)

i liked the prince in the beginning but now i just really love him, good heroic gesture when he took the arrow instead. i got so happy that he was good for a while (lol i guess its cz i know hes not gonna die )

(Chang Whe tells himself again that he can manage fine without her — and I might feel more for him if it weren’t for that horrible ballad that always serves as Chang Whe’s mopey-sad-times anthem. It’s that one by Park Wan Kyu on the OST — the one that’s as poignant as a power ballad by a ’80s glam-rock hair band — and is just so emo that I crack up whenever it’s played.)

I have to say I completely disagree with you on this. I love that song, consider it Chang Whe’s theme song. Heres’ whats funny I fell in love with it when they played it in ep 5 as he was thinking of killing Enoke in the warehouse and have since been hooked.

I like it much better that the Gil Dong/Enoke theme song. For some reason it comes off as too sappy and whiny to convene their relationship.

As far as this goes- he sets the drugs on fire (hm, is that completely safe? Isn’t opium smoked?)

I was wondering the same thing. hmmm..

hello, javabeans! Thanks for the great recap you’ve been giving us. i wonder what i’ll do without them.. he he he… YEY! thank you for giving that wonderful comment to my idol, Chang Whe.. i really love this guy esp. when he tries to control his deep love for Enok. Yiiii, so great! only one thing though, he knows very well how clueless Enok could be and yet he doesn’t totally express in words his feelings for her… or probably because he knew that its a battle lost even before he gets himself into it.. SAD…SAD…

after i watched gil dong on tv here in Msia,i’ll look thru ur recapped series.
would love to read ur thoughts about each episode.
