   Sung Yuri and Kang Ji Hwan look sooooo gorgeous together! They totally deserved to win!!!! Hong Gil Dong should’ve won for best drama in my opinion!

   Are you kidding me?! Eun Hye for best actress?! There were so many other actresses who deserved the award more. Yeah I understand that coffee prince was really popular, but her acting was nothing to talk about! I guess korean awards shows are just about popularity and nothing else……

   My god, the ladies all look so beautiful!!! Congratulations to the to all of the winners and to the people at Baeksang for getting things right! Yoon Eun Hye, PD Lee (Coffee Prince!!) and the writer of Thank You were inspired choices based upon deserved recognition despite the huge tide of popular sentiment from the fans for their personal favorites. My personal favorites won so I feel happy, relieved, and vindicated for hitching my wagon to their trains. One question in my mind still remains; When will our generous, insightful, and persuasive hostess get around to watching finally Thank You? If you build it, they will come…..Thank you again for all of your hard work.

   Also what about Gong Yoo’s performance in Coffee Prince?!
   Oh well, glad that Yoon Eun Hye got an award…Although wished, she had belted that dress or something, it looks like she’s wearing a parachute. Bless her.

   Wow! Sung Yuri looks amazing! She’s my new fav actress! I’m so glad Kang Ji Hwan and Sung yuri won as a couple! They’re stunning people and I really enjoyed them in Hong Gil Dong! Best drama ever!

   Yoon Eun Hye’s dress is hideous in my opinion. Go Ara looks so pretty! Sung Yuri looked really good too. I’m glad that Hong Gil Dong won, but i can’t believe than Jang Geun Seok won anything. totally did not deserve it.

   what’s with the excessive skin-baring, haha the poor girls must be freezing. erm go ara looks close to a wardrobe malfunction, and lee yeon hee’s dress looks way too tight for her. and park shi yeon looks like an amazonian teehee. han ye seul usually does better than that ridiculous chiffon.. thing she has on her. kinda disappointing :/ yoon eun hye’s just.. what. lol at the parachute comment hehehe

   sung yuri and jung ryeo won are gorgeous as always, though! (: han hyo joo really stood out too.. great hair & smile!

    I don’t really like Kim Min Hee’s and Yoon Eun Hye’s dresses. They both look like they are wearing a parachute.
    Sung Yuri and Kang Ji Hwan are such a nice couple, I’m glad that they won. All three of them, KJH, SYR, and JGS are wearing matching outfits, how cute…

Lee Yeon Hee looks great in the red dress. Very pretty. Gilnok couple looks so classy in the all white. Kang Ji Hwan definitely should of won best actor.

    I don’t think I have ever taken any Korean award shows seriously.. and this is probably why.

    Best New Actor/ess for the movie category is a joke.
    They’re not that bad, but definitely not the best.

    Are staffs giving out roses? Or the fans? Some get 1, I see others get 2.

    Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yuri looks so good together. They look ten times better than the couple of War of Money, no offense or anything but I don’t think that that was the best drama for last year.
    Go Ara looks nice too, same with the actress from the Legend.
    I’ve never seen Yoon Eun Hye in that kind of dress before. It doesn’t really look nice on her though, but I like that it looks like it’s flowing or something…

    I thought Kang Ji Hwan won Popularity award for Capital Scandal? I was originally confused as to why it was CS and not Hong Gil Dong, but apparently it’s for Hong Gil Dong (which would make more sense anyway)…?

    wow…another Best Actress award for Coffee Prince! I think Gong Yoo was better at acting tho…but Lee Yoon Jung’s “Best New Producer” was definitely fit for her!
    By the way, have you noticed, that the bench/chair Go Ara was sitting on in the 14th episode of “Who Are You”, was similar, or perhaps the same as the one Gong Yoo (Han Gyul) had in his apartment?

    Wahh, the ladies all look so beautiful..and I love how Sung Yuri and Kang Ji Hwan match. I’m surprised Yoon Eun Hye got the best actress award, but I can’t say she doesn’t deserve it – I haven’t seen that many 2007-08 kdramas and out of the ones I have seen, Coffee Prince probably had the best acting. Congrats to her! She’s become huge.

    I’m currently watching Thank You and it hasn’t managed to hold my interest too much; maybe I’ve just been too preoccupied with Who Are You?. I really really really want to like it though. Lee Kyung Hee + Jang Hyuk + adorable and talented child actress should equal a great drama. I’m hoping it gets better.

    YEH, I think she gained some weight and is probably trying to hide it. That’s the only explanation i can give to that awful dress sense. Flowing Parachute..hehehe

    Go Ara looked so great. I love her dress sense at times. Sensual and Romantic. Why didn’t YKS show up to this award function? He should have come with Go Ara. Wouldnt that be great? BTW, today’s WAY Ep. 15 is great. Can’t wait for Javabean’s wonderful summary.

    I don’t take the awards seriously, but are fun to watch for the dresses and performances.

    About Thank You, I loved the series as it was really heartwarming and well made. But, it’s a series that you can only watch once as it is really emotionally draining. I remember that when I watched it last year, I would be depressed for days and take out the sadness on unrelated things. Not a good state of mind.

    I must be the only one who loves Yoon Eun Hye’s dress (and Kim Min Hee’s). they’re working the grecian drapey thing perfectly. If you’re short or chubby they might be unflattering but on a tall slender woman it looks really elegant.

    OMG YEH WON!! YESSSS…..funny thing no1 expected her to win not even she herself…i think the choice was also based on the fact that she had this HUGE effect going on the audience..pple u need to remember that she wasn’t very popular be4 and she had a lot of antis..one even at one point injured her cornea by splashing vinegar at YEH’s eyes..thus to turn pple’s hearts around and to improve her acting skills after a year and a half only is a wonder by itself….for those who think that her acting sucks well notice that the producers and the directors all love her and they even gave her the Grimm award for best actress after only two dramas..notice the Grimme is based on the director’s and producers’ choices…i agree though the dress is weird but she neverthles looks gorgeous..best looking in my opinion….

    KJW probably won the Popularity Award coz of Hong Gil Dong, but he was nominated for Best Actor for Capital Scandal and I’m actually rooting for him to win as he was really good in that series. I don’t complain though for PSY’s win coz I believe he is also really good though I havn’t watched War of Money. I just know he is good on whatever role he plays.

    So happy for Eun Hye, love the way her dress flows around her, its really beautiful to watch, a new designer label, a new trend haha. Kim Min Hee is wearing something similar, must be a lucky dress. YEH may not be the best actress but she deserves that award for touching the most hearts, making people feel happy, sentimental stuff like that and of course her hard work, dedication and the impact she made on the industry breaking the biased views on idol stars who are trying to start an acting career. She has grown into a beautiful mature woman, nearly 9 years of hard work has finally paid off, what a great recognition.

    I love Go Ara but have to admit, her dress looks like it’s gonna fall off.
    YEH: she’s definitely a new face, but her acting in CF is great. That’s a very sensible drama. Yes, Gong Yoo’s (and the other two main leads) acting is great too. I don’t know why people are under-estimating Coffe Prince. May be it’s not as popular as a period drama with 40%++ rating, but for young generation, it’s a huge blast, and trendy drama with everything carefully scripted, planned and prepared. When I watched the special, I was totally convinced why I was so much in love with everything in this drama. The PD did a good job to make a theme through out this drama. I can’t say enough good things about CP, for me, that’s the best K-drama ever.

    @Anon. I’m with you! I liked both YEH and Kim Min Hee’s dresses, very flowy, dreamy and romantic. The royal blue color of YEH’s dress is gorgeous, and Kim Min Hee’s bold red dress made her stand out from the crowd.

    YEH’s win is the most touching, because the girl looked shell-shocked. lol. She outdid herself in Coffee Prince and deserves her award. Congrats to Park Shin Yang too, he was terrific in War of Money.

    I think the picture you have posted for Go Ara doesn’t give the dress a good angle. If you look it from frontal viewpoint, it is a pretty good dress.

    congrats to KJH & SYR! & JGS! i love Kwon Sang Woo, but on stage he looked not as charismatic as he usually is, and he kind of seemed tired and annoyed. YEH i’m glad she won, but she always seems to have a strange fashion sense, i wish she wouldn’t be so daring to wear such strange looking things and bright/too much makeup, she would be prettier without makeup.

    Yoon Eun Hye deserved it ! Young and talented, she acts naturally & not to mentioned, excellent on screen chemistry with Goong Yoo. To me, the most romantic pairing of 2007!
    I have no problem with her gown. I thought it was very unique. It is not you typical strapless gown you’ve always seen on the red carpet. She carried it off well.

    All of us had their own opinions and views…But for me, i think Yoon Eun Hye really deserves the Best Actress awards,, not bc0z Coffee Prince became really popular around the w0rld,, but ADMIT it.!! She w0rks really hard and improved a lot c0mpare to her acting skills in Goong And The Vineyard Man.. She deserves it.. i’ll still look f0rward to her New Dramas in the future… and more Awards for her ^______^ just my opinion.. thanx!
