I believe that the chemical worked good between HHJand KJW. Somehow, I think that HHJ acting will make anyone acts in the opposite role become interesting and important (as in Jumong; I started to like Jumong after he met So Su No, and more interested in the older prince). In be strong geum soon, KJW's acting is surreal, I cried with him in emotion and he did an excellent job portrait the young in-love Doctor. Usually, dramas become tiresom after 20th episode, wt BSG, I just want it to go on. I still rewatch it time to time and find it still like it like the first time I watched. be strong geum soon is the best drama that KJW successed. I've read all that u wrote here, and I agree with a lot of what you've said. The reason I I watched bits and pieces of Hong gil-dong was because of Sung Yu-ri. A friend told me to look out for Jang Geun-suk in it but I thought KJH nailed it and made the titular c'ter his - he would be a hard act to beat. He emotes well, much better than some of his peers. Hong Gil-dong's runaway success can be attributed to a few factors - the right timing, an interesting sageuk plot and a beautiful cast (KJH, Sung Yuri and Jang Geun-suk are three of today's most good looking eye candy). I thought KJH emoted well and looked above average. But Capital Scandal made me do a double take, he looks mightily fine. It will take some time for A Movie is a Movie to reach our shores (Singapore) but I'll be eagerly anticipating it. Unlike new actors like YEH, who "shot to fame" in roles like Goong, Kang Ji hwan has been in the acting industry long before Be strong geum soon. He's had various small roles. People just never took notice of him until Be Strong Geum Soon. Kang Ji Hwan is someone who is hard working and determinded. He's a charming and brillant actor.
