Who Are You: Episode 14

As much as I like the romantic moments between Seung Hyo and Young In (and the gradual, measured way that’s progressed), my favorite moments are becoming more and more the scenes between Seung Hyo and Il Gun. It’s their give-and-take: Seung Hyo is slowly coming to enjoy life through Young In’s and Il Gun’s prodding, and Il Gun (aside from the weirdness of having actually inhabited the body of his prospective son-in-law) actually couldn’t have wished for a better outcome — a man who understands Il Gun’s fatherly love for his daughter, to whom he can safely entrust Young In after he leaves permanently.

There are also a lot of good conversations in this episode.

EPISODE 14 RECAP

There’s a bit of filming inconsistency when we resume the exchange of punches between SeungHyoDad and Jae Ha (their bloodied lips), but I’ll overlook that. SeungHyoDad shouts at Jae Ha to leave and shoves him to the ground. Jae Ha leaves angrily, telling Young In she’s better off without Seung Hyo and to find someone more pleasant.

Turns out Il Gun’s fury isn’t because he recognized Jae Ha from the accident; rather, he’s angry that the predatory older male is taking advantage of his trusting daughter to get his paintings/money.

SeungHyoDad apologizes, saying that the moment he saw Jae Ha with her, he went crazy and hit without thinking. Young In is mollified, thinking he’s acting out of jealousy (which he denies, to her disappointment). She comments on his erratic behavior, kicking her aside yesterday and being jealous today. He perks up at her criticism and encourages it, telling her he really doesn’t like her. But because it’s so obvious that he’s making excuses so she’ll hate Seung Hyo, it’s more cute than mean, and Young In doesn’t believe him. When she asks why he doesn’t like her, SeungHyoDad fumbles, “Huh? Um. Because you’re pretty. You’re too pretty, so I dislike you. Also, you’re too young, and you’re nice too. How can it be okay for me to like you?”

Il Gun’s rationale has the opposite of its intended effect, and Young In just tells him, “You’re a coward” (as in, he’s running away from his feelings). SeungHyoDad jumps on that: “You’re right. I’m a coward.” But he annoys her again by bringing up their difference in IQ.

A few hours later, still parked in front of the convenience store, Il Gun fills Seung Hyo in on the events of the evening. Seung Hyo grows upset at Il Gun for continuing to mess with his life, but at least this time Il Gun is properly abashed for his actions. As it starts raining, Il Gun asks him to drive Young In home after work. Not to encourage the relationship, but just to give her a ride home.

Seeing Seung Hyo parked outside, Young In acts irritated but clearly likes it; she tells her co-worker on her way out, “My boyfriend will take me home.” She steps outside and pauses, expecting Seung Hyo to step out and greet her… but Seung Hyo is actually waiting outside, across the street. He watches, amused, as Young In (who thinks he’s in the car) acts like she’s going to walk home in the rain, then stops, dismayed that Seung Hyo isn’t offering her a ride.

When he does appear, Young In is pleased, but first wants to take him to task for his behavior earlier. Assuming a frown, she tells him she’s still upset: “Please just go on tonight. The way I feel right now, I don’t have the smallest inclination to walk under that umbrella or ride in that car with you.”

With that, she turns to walk away — and just as she hoped, he stops her from leaving. But to her surprise, he hands her his umbrella, tells her to use it, and goes back to his car.

Young In can’t believe he’s going to let her go alone, and Seung Hyo laughs to himself because he knows she was bluffing.

He does, however, follow her as she walks home, driving slowly behind her the entire way. Young In repeatedly looks back at him, happy that he didn’t ditch her.

When they arrive, she approaches the car to talk to him.

Young In: “I do feel grateful, but next time, insist I ride in the car even if I say I don’t want to. How can you be so oblivious to a woman’s feelings? Did you act this strangely to your previous girlfriends?”
Seung Hyo: “No.”
Young In: “Then are you only like this with me?”
Seung Hyo: “Yeah.”
Young In: “Why? Because I’m young?”
Seung Hyo: “I don’t know why I’m like this with you.”
Young In: “Still, I was glad because you waited for me the whole time. And because you brought me home like this.”

Seung Hyo watches Young In walk inside, staring out after her. Regretfully, he asks Il Gun, sitting beside him:

Seung Hyo: “I can’t go after her, can I?”

Il Gun sees that Seung Hyo wants to go after her, but since he doesn’t want him to, he makes no response.

At home, Deok mentions how weird it is for a guy to have met his first love at age 31, and Young In laughs at the idea. But Deok tells her that Seung Hyo called Young In his first love, which startles her. Feeling uplifted, Young In calls Seung Hyo to check that he got home safely. His taciturn answers are reflective of his sober mood as he answers that he got home fine. But when we see his side of the conversation, he’s still sitting in his car, parked in her neighborhood.

(Btw, I love the pacing of this conversation — quiet and thoughtful.) After a pause, she asks if he’s seen the movie Leon (The Professional); he hasn’t (“I don’t like movies where they just shoot guns with no reason”). She answers that it’s actually a love story, and recites a few lines.

Young In: “‘I’m already grown up. I just grow older.’ That’s what Mathilda says.”
Seung Hyo: “How old is she?”
Young In: “Twelve, I think.”
Seung Hyo: “How worldly. So then?”
Young In: “Then Leon answers, ‘I’m the opposite. I’ve aged enough years, but I’m still young.”
Seung Hyo: “How old’s Leon?”
Young In: “Late thirties, forties? In any case, he’s a lot older than you.”
Seung Hyo: “What is it you want to say?”
Young In: “Just… that they loved each other.”

Seung Hyo: “Is it… a happy ending?”
Young In: “No, one dies.”
Seung Hyo: “Who?”
Young In: “Leon.”

Young In can feel how that might not be the most promising sign, so she says:

Young In: “But we’ll have a happy ending. We have to. Okay?”

They hang up, and Young In sighs at Seung Hyo’s lack of response, grumbling that at her words, he’s supposed to tell her he misses her and come rushing to her through the rain —

And she gets her wish.

Ho Joong simmers in hatred for Seung Hyo, recalling his insults to his family. He’s so angry that he proposes to Jae Ha that they “take care of” Seung Hyo so he can’t make trouble for them again. He promises that he’ll do all the dirty work, and asks what Seung Hyo’s weakness is — an Achilles heel they can use to bring him to his knees.

(Ho Joong also — finally! — clears up my confusion about the actual accident. He was the driver following Il Gun when Il Gun crashed, but claims he never laid a finger on the body. He saw that the man was already dying and didn’t get involved, therefore he’s innocent of any crime. Jae Ha counters that Ho Joong was following him dangerously, but Ho Joong reminds him that Jae Ha had instructed him to follow the man and recover the paintings at any cost.)

Seung Hyo confirms this as well, comparing the voice of the emergency phone call to Ho Joong’s voice, which he recorded at their last meeting. The technician confirms that it’s almost certain that the voice on both tapes belongs to the same man.

Seung Hyo’s father loiters around the office again, and this time Seung Hyo invites him up to talk. He reminds his father of his warning to stay away from his workplace, although this time he’s not so mean about it, just matter-of-fact. He answers honestly when his father asks what there is between him and Ho Joong, why Ho Joong searched his car, and why Seung Hyo had him investigated: “There’s a woman I have feelings for. I think your son killed her father.” Seung Hyo asks his father for one of Ho Joong’s discarded cigarettes as evidence.

In an effort to find out more about Seung Hyo’s habits and whereabouts, Ho Joong continues his flirtation with Secretary Yeo, charming her with compliments and lovey-dovey affectionate gestures. She loves the attention and answers his questions about Seung Hyo’s schedule without suspicion.

Jae Ha visits Young In with an air of quiet finality, sensing that things are going to change soon.

Jae Ha: “Later on, in ten or twenty years, if I were to run into you in the street, I don’t want to tell you, ‘To be honest, I liked you back then.’ I don’t want to say something stupid like that in my old age so I’ll say it now. You’re pretty in my eyes. You make my heart ache. If I don’t tell you now, they’ll become useless words, things I won’t be able to tell you tomorrow. I intended to stay quiet forever but it felt too unfair, like it would turn into lies, so I’m telling you. Take care. This is goodbye.”

Young In watches him leave, confused and startled by his confession but not chasing after him.

Young Ae visits the temple to pray, and on her way out runs into the same monk from before, who asks if she’d found the one she’d been searching for. The monk tells her, somewhat cryptically, that her time to say goodbye has come, that humans are mortals, that meetings end with partings, that life ends with death. Now her prayers must be for her loved one to find his way to heaven safely. Young Ae stammers that she’s not ready to say goodbye, and the monk tells her to prepare herself.

Mentally and physically fatigued from the strain of everything, Seung Hyo stumbles down the staircase of his office building.

Seung Hyo: “I’m truly sorry. I don’t know how to apologize… what to say…”
Il Gun: “Why? Why would you apologize?”
Seung Hyo: “I don’t know. I don’t know that, I don’t know anything.”
Il Gun: “Let’s sit for a moment.”
Seung Hyo: “Here? On the office lobby staircase, where the employees can see? You might be okay because you’re a spirit, but they see me. They all see me. They can see my fear, and my anger, and my despair. They can see my longing. The CEO cannot let others see those things. He can’t let them see anything.”
Il Gun: “You’ll be fired soon, won’t you? If your legs are tired, you stop. If you can’t walk, you sit down. If you sit down, someone might come to hold you up. That’s how we live.”

Seung Hyo sits beside Il Gun. Il Gun asks if it’s better than he’d thought, and Seung Hyo nods.

Il Gun: “After I died, I found death isn’t as bad as I thought. How great is it that I don’t have to die anymore? Once I died, I became certain of what was the most important thing in my life. Aside from Young In, everything just fell away. In one moment, I could cast away everything I’d struggled for in life. I found that there’s nothing I would think of besides Young In. Your difficulties now become nothing once you’re dead. Your head aches enough to burst right now, but after you die, that becomes nothing. Buck up.”

Seung Hyo relaxes and sits back, taking in the view, not even bothered when employees shoot him curious glances.

When Seung Hyo shows up at Young In’s place in the morning, she teases him about their “soccer match” relationship, asking him to kick very lightly today.

But Seung Hyo is in a serious mood; he tells her he’s going to move her father’s paintings today. He promises, “I’ll make sure you see them. I’ll bring them safely into your hands.” Young In senses his troubled mind, and asks what’s wrong; Seung Hyo merely says he doesn’t think he can play soccer. (Note: It could be interpreted that he means he can’t play anymore; in the context, it seems — to me — that he’s saying he’s just temporarily out of the game. We’ll see soon enough.)

Ho Joong arrives outside Young In’s place to see Seung Hyo’s car parked outside. It looks like he’s found Seung Hyo’s Achilles heel.

Jae Ha leads the documentary team to the orphanage for filming, anxious to retrieve the paintings. The docu concept is the search for the disappeared paintings — upon hearing this, the orphanage director nervously texts Seung Hyo, and puts the clues together, linking the documentary, Jae Ha, U Gallery, and the debt collector thugs together.

Jae Ha’s nervous and paranoid, and rushes to check on the warehouse where the paintings were hidden — only to find them gone. He runs out and sees a truck leaving the grounds, and sets off in a chase.

Jae Ha and the documentary crew chase the truck and arrive in front of the Blue Star building, where they see who it was that outmaneuvered them:

Additionally…

For me, Who Are You? is really being carried by Yoon Kye Sang. Not in the fangirly, “omg he’s hot” sort of way but in the way he’s taking on his character(s). In fact, the fangirly response was something of an afterthought for me; I didn’t really think he was all that good-looking till this drama, and his appeal isn’t based on his looks. (It’s the opposite, actually; he’s been seeming more and more good-looking because I like his acting.) He’s not the only good thing about the drama (the writing has been consistent; I wouldn’t be able to bear a show otherwise, no matter how much I liked the acting), but he’s the standout, both the character and actor.

I think Go Ara is scraping by reasonably — she hasn’t had many shining moments, but at least she doesn’t (usually) make me cringe. I accept her character because she’s the object of Seung Hyo’s affections, but I don’t find Young In remarkable on her own. I don’t hate her; I’m just kinda indifferent. I’m enjoying the drama enough to not be too bothered by that, although who knows how much more addicting it could have been with a stronger actress in the role.

I completely agree with you regarding Yoon Kye Sang's acting. I remember when I first watched YKS, it was in a typical-not-great-kind of drama, and I didn't like him much initially. But towards the end of the drama I had really warmed up to him a lot, and appreciated his role, though it wasn't near as complex as it was here. I think he's definitely worked hard at his acting, and it shows. I'm amazed at the ability with which he switched roles, and his ability to balance that and show us the transition too...not just the opposite Il Gun and Seung Hyo but the Il Gun trying to be Seung Hyo and the Seung Hyo softening like Il Gun. All of that is pretty difficult, and done very well by him. Go Ara's pretty, and I'm just glad her role isn't supposed to be weepy and weak and lets-not-say-anything-so-that-it-goes-away-itself melodramatic, its written well, and I think she's decent. But without doubt, Yoon Kye Sang (and also to a good degree, the actor who plays Il Gun who's name I'm blanking on) carries the show. And does it very well.

And can I say again how much I love Lee Sang Heon's music directing? 'Course any director who uses Yi Sung Yol is automatically my favorite ;) but his taste is wonderful. Great music. I think I recognize one of the themes to be the same as in QSS...and I thought it was hilarious how in one of the early episodes, when SHDad meets Young Ae, you have one of the tunes from Winter Sonata (Ha Yun Yun In Deul) play in the background. That was genius and funny!

Thank you Javabeans! :)

it's so weird but i was totally thinking the same thing...concerning Yoon Kye Sang's and Go Ara's characters. i originally started watching because i wanted to see how the whole-taking-over-a-body storyline would pan out...NOT because of YKS or Ara (although, i've been a fan of YKS for a while, but i wasn't gonna watch a drama JUST for him). Anyways, I was watching today's ep. and it suddenly occurred to me that the scenes i am most immersed w/ are the ones with YKS. then, i figured it's probably cause he's sooo handsome, but no, it's b/c i totally feel and understand his character. i mean, his character doesn't even have to say anything and i get what he's thinking. (by the way, that hug scene was amazing b/c of the SH's expressions, and the lines SH says like..."I can't follow her, can I?"....totally get to me.) Anyways, then i realized that although the whole-borrowing-the-body scenario was originally meant for Young In's benefit, it has played a much more significant role for SH. oh, and this might sound like I'm just repeating everything you wrote, but the scene on the staircase made me really emotional...don't know why but IG and SH scenes are most pivotal for me. YI has helped SH change, but I feel he is most vulnerable and open in his scenes w/ IG, hence those scenes do a better job of showing SH's progression/growth. by the way, TOTALLY LOVE the development of SH. to conclude, let me just say that i totally concur with your statement that YKS carries the drama. it doesn't hurt that he's so darn handsome. (i'm growing a weird uncontrollable obsession over him at the moment...which is not good cause it's midterms week! haha). Thanks again for the summary Miss Dramabeans...you are what most people like to call "AWESOME".

I agree with you that at first glance YKS isn't your typical 'OMG HE'S SEXY AS HELL' but his character (flaws and all) and the emotional growth he's showing (in his role and his acting) just make him sexy as heck...

MAJOR props to YKS for carrying off WAY..also, major props to Kang Nam Gil as well! I think Ara is really pretty..and her acting isn't that bad..but I hope the writers will throw in some scenes in the last 3 eps to really make her shine..

Thanks so much Javabeans!!

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better. I felt exactly the same way with Crazy For You/Love. And then I forgot about about how much I like him until WAY came along. Now I'm in danger of turning all fangirly.

I agree that Yoon Kye Sang is definitely shining in this drama. I think most of us is falling for his ability to act his character to a Tee. Also i have a question, When Song Hyo went to Young In's house in the morning what do you mean "hes temporarily out of the game?" Thanks for the awesome summary and thoughts once again!

Javabean,

I so totally agree with your evaluation on YKS & GA's acting levels. For YKS, I have been impressed, based on previous episodes. But, his acting as SH/IG, in today's scenes just before he entered the convenience store, was totally incredible. He had perfectly duplicated IG's mannerisms, speaking, etc. Whoever coached did a fantastic job.

I think Sigmund Freund and Carl Jung would have loved this drama. They could go to town analyzing each character. Here's some issues that I've identified:

Yi didn’t like her father, when he was alive. But realizes how much she loves him as she learns more about him after he dies. (Has a loving & pesky father active in her daily life.)

SH does not even acknowledge having parents because he thinks they abandoned him. His defense mechanism is not to love or care about anyone else. Therefore, he can't be hurt if anyone abandons him again. He has turtles because they live a long time and wouldn’t abandon him. No cute pets for him because he may fall in love with it. And, they’ll abandon him by dying. (Has no father in his daily life.)

HJ hates his father because he feels his father never cares or loves him. (Only has a father, for scolding purposes, when he misses up.)

JH has a long distance relationship with his father. (Has a father that is not active in his daily life.)

YH has a father. His life style (horse racing) is a monetary burden to her. (Has a father with a cost.)

My favorite conversation is from Il Gun: “You’ll be fired soon, won’t you? If your legs are tired, you stop. If you can’t walk, you sit down. If you sit down, someone might come to hold you up. That’s how we live.” It sounds like sage advice that a father would give to his son.

Definitely a father theme in this drama. I also think the writing in each episode is wonderful. It is not the run-of-the-mill romance drama. Perhaps, the low ratings.

As always, thank you for your great recaps and summaries.

Not me! I've been a YKS fan since My 19-yr old SNL. I loved how he played Kang Seung Jae. He's not classic handsome, but he is good looking. His acting makes him super good looking. I think he has one of the bodies too. I don't suppose we'll get to see that in WAY :(.

As usual your summaries are great. Thanks.

Baobao, sorry for the confusion. I added that side note about his comment because at first, I thought he was saying he couldn't play soccer with her anymore (meaning their relationship won't work), but he doesn't explicitly say the the word "anymore." He follows that by saying he's injured (still speaking in soccer metaphors). Thinking more on the scene, it started to seem possible that he meant that he couldn't play soccer now. Depending on how I read the scene, either interpretation seems possible, so I mentioned both.

(If he meant he can't play anymore, Young In does have a concerned expression on her face, but the way he answers isn't quite as serious as I would expect in such a moment. In any case, I'm sure we'll know soon enough.)

"Yi didn’t like her father, when he was alive. But realizes how much she loves him as she learns more about him after he dies. (Has a loving & pesky father active in her daily life.)"

it's more like she doesn't appreciate him when he was alive coz his love was so much that it borders on smothering but after his death and he's no longer around that she finds how much she took him for granted.

"SH does not even acknowledge having parents because he thinks they abandoned him. His defense mechanism is not to love or care about anyone else. Therefore, he can’t be hurt if anyone abandons him again. He has turtles because they live a long time and wouldn’t abandon him. No cute pets for him because he may fall in love with it. And, they’ll abandon him by dying. (Has no father in his daily life.)"

SH does acknowledge the father but he doesn't want to have force a bond that isn't there. i don't think SH deliberately set out not to love anyone just that he never learned how.

Javabeans, Thanks for the explanation! I was worried for a sec when I watched episode 14 without subs and i thought he was going to withdraw himself from her again. Hopefully like you said it won't be too serious. Sometimes I wish the relationship between Song Hyo and Young In would stabilize. Although I realize they still have a lot of trials to overcome. Thanks again for answering my question!

Thank-you Javabeans!

Although YSK 's character matured through My 19 year old sister in law I was never overly crazy about him like I have become because of WAY. Totally agree with all your assessments of his amazing acting abilities which further enhances his good looks. It seems like he has grown up and matured so much...it's like he has come into himself and is so confident...perfection! Maybe it's because of this drama and role but it allows him to showcase his talents in so many ways.

I love the whole rain scene...SH's want and need to go after YI. I watched it with a lump in my throat as I felt SH's love to protect her from the rain. His heart was just bursting to the point where he couldn't hold back anymore having held back all this time...he forgot all the reasons that held him back earlier and just had to hold her. Not wanting to leave her, sitting in the car and finally running through the rain to answer YI affirmatively 'YES we will have a happy ending!! His hug and expression said it all...'I can't fight my feelings anymore. I LOVE YOU!' AWWW just love this scene...there was no need for words...l thanks to again their undeniable chemistry! I' such a sucker for this romance. Also can't imagine anyone other than GA as YI because she has done a great job.

As an aside the hug also reminds of another classic couple Jang Dong Gun and Chaerim in All About Eve...another amazing drama because of the chemistry.

Can't wait for the subs and tomorrow's episode. Thanks again for the great summary!!!

Thanks for the recap :D

I fell in love with YKS when I first watched him in My wife is 17. You are right, he wasnt drop dead gorgeous (even then) but he just started pulling me towards him/ his character and before I even noticed i started rooting for him rather than the main lead. Ive made sure to watch his other dramas after that, which disappointingly are not a lot. Besides Who Are You and the one I mentioned, he just has Crazy for You. I wish he is given a lot more projects, to make sure whatever they are they already have one sure viewer, ME!!! Ü

i know i am in the minority here ...
but i still think that Go Ara is too young for the role...
i still don't like her paired with YKS...

anyways, thanks for the caps, sarahbeans...

I can see and understand maltesers point of view concerning the pair up.

Mr. Yoon has thoroughly captivated and entertained me with his outstanding acting. I wish him much success in the future.

Thank you for a great summary that I always look forward to.

Thank you very much. I really enjoy reading your recap and comments. I love Yun Kye Sang, he's a great actor. You should see him in Crazy for Love and My sister in law is 19. He's versatile, he can be in drama and comedy at the same time. He's a good singer too. Anyways, thank you very much and looking forward for the next episode.

Thanks for the summaries! They are very much appreciated.
Plus, I can't believe they quoted Leon, one of my all time favourite movies!
Actually Natalie Portman and Go Ara have the same type of face...

Agree with you. I've seen some of YSKs kdrama, but i think this is his best. He has matured a lot and became more good looking. Loving him already. Jae Ha character is also good, Hope we can see more of him.

Thanks for the recap. Love it so.

Yes, there is an 11 year difference between SH and YI and he may have a higher IQ than her but YI hands down has a higher emotional IQ (EQ). Right from the beginning YI was able to handle SH while SH was scared and trying so very hard to deny his growing feelings for her. YI was the assertive one declaring her love for him in Ep.11; wanting to replace his turtles; having the pride to protect the most important thing to her hence the soccer ball. She is connected to her feelings and very truthful about it. Showing SH her love ultimately opened up his heart (witnessing IG’s love and dedication to his daughter has helped). Someone mentioned that she sure was a ‘smart woman’ and I might add ‘very gutsy’. If only we can be as truthful to ourselves and be able to act on our feelings than the world would be a better place…

While our SH may have all the business acumens, he lacks the EQ to live and love like ordinary people which explains why YI is his first love at 31. It’s not weird at all but very logical having lived in his shell and ordered life; being afraid to let anyone in and disturbing his world and abandon him again. They are both each other’s first love…the perfect match.

Physically GA is the perfect match for KSY as well because KSY does not look his 29 years at all. I think that he would look like a kid next to someone older. Again another argument for GA to be YI!

Please please let SH and YI have their happy ending and live happily after…they both deserve it!!!

I haven't been really leaving comments but I'm really addicted to visiting your blog every Thursday in anticipation for "Who Are You" :) Great synopsis as usual (because your writing is so wonderful!) and thank you lots for the synopsis!

i completely kno what u mean about yoon hye sang- on first look and in pics hes not immediatly hot. i became a fan of his after "My Sister In Law is 19".its a 2004 drama that is rather foolishly cute but again, it hangs on YKS. he's the only reason i watched it :) but none of my friends understood my "hes hot"ravings unless they saw the show

thanks for the summaries. i just started watching this on mbc america w/ subs. i'm surprised about how good it is, and the balance of funny and drama. also the hot guys are great too. i just scanned your summary cause i was curious but don't want to really read it for spoilers until i see the episode. it looks like there is an evil guy, i'm glad because there are usually just crazy evil girls in k-dramas.

Yeah, there's something about YKS that makes him appear "hot" and whenever he smiles I smile too. He's actually cute and better looking than his G.O.D. days with his earrings and all lol. And yes, Rain and Stephen Colbert should do a dance-off. Colbert will probably lose this one too and that will give him another reason to talk(make fun?) of Rain. Poor Rain but then again he's getting all the publicity with that and that's probably why he's #1 on the raitings.

Wow! What a great episode. Now that I have watched with subs, I get all the conversations. Wonderful conversations.

The buildup to the HUG was so wonderful. I love CSH.

I think the actress (Go Ara) is really good, young and pretty, so adorable that everyone will love her(in the drama). Good acting and not overact.

I only started watching this and am now up to ep. 15. This is surely one great drama not to be missed this year.

Javabean, agree with you wholeheartedly that YSH is the one carrying this series. His performance here could be THE sole reason to watch! I also can't help to think what it would be like if YI's character is played by another actress. Go Ara is doing a good job here but I kind of think the chemistry between the two leads is not as strong as it could be.

i liked Yoon Kye since watching him on My Sister In Law is 19 -- then Crazy Love but I haven't seen this one & heard it's a good drama! I look f/ward to watching this just because of Yoon cause he's a cutie & a very good actor! I also saw him in Lovers for 6 Years with Kim Ha Neul & he was good in there too! This actor doesn't even look his age, such a baby face I must say! Yoon - you're one of my favorite Korean actors & keep up the good work & hope to see more of your projects!!
