exactly my thoughts. i buy the whole “i love you” from SH because he’s so darn convincing but then i find myself asking “but… why her?” from time to time. besides her looks she’s got nothing going on for her. absolutely nothing. i wonder if they’ve down-written the character so that it’d be easier on go ara’s acting level >_<

totally agree here … at this point the scenes between ill gon and seung hyo are really interesting as the plot begins to shape the father-son relationship

I noticed another filming inconsistency, sort of. In an earlier episode, when Young In is passing out flyers, Ji Sook had a motorized wheelchair, but she supposedly didn’t buy it until this episode, right? Curious.

I feel the same way about Go Ara, although her voice occasionally irks me.
The reason you’re now a fangirl of Yoon Kye Sang is the same reason I’m a Kang Ji Hwan fangirl. Haha, an ajumma asked me who my favorite actor was, and she didn’t know who KJH was, so when she saw his picture, she disapproved. -.-

Yoon Kye Sang has the kind of looks that ‘grows on you’. As I said in an ealier post, he did not strike me as a typical good looking Korean actor (some of them have too pretty faces, in fact). But YKS has the manly yet boyish look. And he is one of the best dressed (esp. in suits) actors I’ve seen. He can definitely carry the corporate look without looking stiff. Sexy body, too. And his very rare smiley moments are priceless. I hope to watch him in his future dramas.

i liked Yoon Kye since watching him on My Sister In Law is 19 — then Crazy Love but I haven’t seen this one & heard it’s a good drama! I look f/ward to watching this just because of Yoon cause he’s a cutie & a very good actor! I also saw him in Lovers for 6 Years with Kim Ha Neul & he was good in there too! This actor doesn’t even look his age, such a baby face I must say! Yoon – you’re one of my favorite Korean actors & keep up the good work & hope to see more of your projects!!

I only started watching this and am now up to ep. 15. This is surely one great drama not to be missed this year.

Javabean, agree with you wholeheartedly that YSH is the one carrying this series. His performance here could be THE sole reason to watch! I also can’t help to think what it would be like if YI’s character is played by another actress. Go Ara is doing a good job here but I kind of think the chemistry between the two leads is not as strong as it could be.

I think the actress (Go Ara) is really good, young and pretty, so adorable that everyone will love her(in the drama). Good acting and not overact.

Wow! What a great episode. Now that I have watched with subs, I get all the conversations. Wonderful conversations.

The buildup to the HUG was so wonderful. I love CSH.

Yeah, there’s something about YKS that makes him appear “hot” and whenever he smiles I smile too. He’s actually cute and better looking than his G.O.D. days with his earrings and all lol. And yes, Rain and Stephen Colbert should do a dance-off. Colbert will probably lose this one too and that will give him another reason to talk(make fun?) of Rain. Poor Rain but then again he’s getting all the publicity with that and that’s probably why he’s #1 on the raitings.

thanks for the summaries. i just started watching this on mbc america w/ subs. i’m surprised about how good it is, and the balance of funny and drama. also the hot guys are great too. i just scanned your summary cause i was curious but don’t want to really read it for spoilers until i see the episode. it looks like there is an evil guy, i’m glad because there are usually just crazy evil girls in k-dramas.
