QSS is the reason why I’m hooked on anything about Eric Mun. Heck, I didn’t know anything about Shinhwa in the first place.

I saw the teasers of Strongest Chil Woo and I’m saying this will be the first time I’m going to watch a traditional Korean drama (fusion or not). I just didn’t dig Korean actors and actresses garbed in traditional Korean costume.

I kept looking at the pictures…I don’t see how they are well-matched. LOL. Javabeans, you must see something that I’m not…
For QSS and Eric, I will give this series a chance. Hopefully it will be something worthwhile and entertaining.

@Annie, I respect your opinion about QSS. Each person has a different taste in their liking of dramas.

I was surprised that you had doubt about Eric’s acting there. I’m not saying this because I’m an Eric’s fan but the Korean media also gave him a thump up for his acting ability in QSS.

Any how, hope you tune in for Strongest Chil Woo so we can discuss more about Eric’s acting!!!

@phiphi. I wasn’t referring to the ratings at all. Rarely do I based a drama’s sucess on its ratings. Rating means nothing to me. Que Sera Sera was not a good drama in my opinion. The plot, the acting, etc. I’m sure others though it was amazing but I did not, Despite the fact that I am a huge Eric fan, I was not impressed with his acting. I hope that Eric can come back with a good quality drama and thus “redeeming” himself.

@Annie, the plot of QSS might not be of your liking but Eric’s acting there passed the test with flying colour.

If it’s the rating is that you refer to “Eric be able to redeem himself with Strongest Chil Woo”, I think it’s a bit unfair to pin the whole drama’s failure/success squarely on a leading actor/actress. Sure, big name stars would grap people’s attention at first but drama rating depends on so many more variables: the production, the budget, the directing, the competion at it’s time of broadcast but the most important one to me is the writer & the script.

For sure this drama is in for a tought battle with many big name competions at its time of broadcast

It doesn’t really matter to me who they get for the guy’s roles, but I would never, ever deprive myself of the pleasure of seeing Goo Hye Sun in anything! She’s the one who really hooked me on KDRama as Yang Gukwha in Pure in Heart, was without doubt the best thing going in The Kind And I, (both of which she won, or shared the best new actress award, from KBS and SBS, respectively) and is about as cute as any person has a right to be. If it’s a comedy, the girl with the “rubber face” is the one to go to. Count me in, BIG TIME!!!!!!
