Having looked at these pics, I have discovered just what an evil streak I have in me. These guys look like death warmed over and I couldn’t stop myself from laughing for 5 minutes straight. I’m sure it was gruelling and I would probably have died in the first 5 hours but the looks on their faces and the tears are just too funny. Anyway, whether they had breaks, slept in tents, had massages or whatever, I say kudos to them for doing it! Who the hell came up with this sadistic idea? Twenty-four hours of staying awake is torture enough even without having to walk.

In reply to some of your guys’ comments,
1] Shin Dong actually DID lose some weight.
“Super Junior’s member Shin Dong has different determination with others. In order to finish this marathon, he has gone on a diet by reducing his intake by a half and concentrate on exercise. He has successfully lost 3.5 kg as a result. Shin Dong said “I am worried about the marathon”. He said “I cannot run for a long distance”, but on the other hand he said “I am in a diet so that I can persist till the end, and I have lost 3.5 kg now. I have reduced my intake by a half for each day, and made a recipe to find out the exact calories in sugars and proteins. I am also exercising.”
2]Not only were Eeteuk and Shin Dong crying, all the others did too.
Anyhow, the marathon has ended and they all made it. They did extremely well too, even Yesung.

puhahahahaha.
nerak: i was there too, along with my whole family. NOTT true at all. it’s true that they stopped once in a while for a massage, but not every 10 minutes!
and did you not hear about yesung? he trudged/limped on and on until he had to be taken to the HOSPITAL. that’s how hard he was trying. they obviously have to get some kind of rest!

and the fans and volunteers should have brought their own tents and stuff. we did. we only got 2 hours of sleep, but under “nice warm blankets” super junior just had it all prepared for them. it’s not their fault none of the other ppl had the sense to bring their own supplies.

anyways, if they really did make them run/jog/walk for 24 hours straight, with no rest, no massage and no sleep, ELF would have killed whoever organized the event.

I was in that damn freaking marathon and all i felt was I was being used for publisity by super Junior. They definetly have no sleep deprivation. They had a masseuse with them they stop every 10 minutes or so for a message.. Hell! they did not even run, they just walk and they only run when the cameras were facing them.. best part was they did not even set up a resting tents for any of the fans. At 3 am the stupid juniors get to sleep with nice warm blankets..but the fans they had to wait in the cold by the river. Even the volunteers had to sleep by the river with NEWSPAPERS as their blankets. C’mon …don’t they know what is a marathon…they probably just act exhausted.. the people who were really exhausted were actually the fans and the volunteers ok. I thought I volunteered for a good cause but apparently the charity bodies pulled themselves out from the event ( I heard this from SBS-they told us when we started complaining later) so the event was mainly publisity…
