New clothes for Barbie
I’ll admit I don’t really care so much about this news, but the pictures sure are pretty — they’re so bright and lively and candy-colored.
Korea’s “Barbie Doll” (so noted for her tall, leggy and well-endowed proportions) Han Chae Young (Delightful Girl Chun Hyang, Fireworks) is joining the celebrity trend and launching her own clothing brand, to be called RACHEL HAN’S (Rachel is, I believe, her American name from her days living in the States). Not the most creative appellation, but I’m sure nobody’s looking at Hancy to critique her word choices. Her line will be produced in conjunction with online retailer G Market.
After getting married last year, Han Chae Young made her theatrical debut in the stage play Awkward People; after acting in Are You With the One You Love? and Lovers, she’s not currently attached to any projects.

Her last movie you mean. Some of these outfits are so unflattering for her body. I hope she comes back with a drama soon. She hasn’t filmed a drama since 2005’s Fireworks. Which wasn’t exactly good.

Her eyes are really beautiful and I like her longish nose. Mouth is nice except when she moves her upper lip when she is acting petulant. I don’t care for her figure that much. The breasts are a nice size but they are set too low making her look almost matronly sometimes. (Her figure didn’t look so great in Only You. The legs are long enough but it’s also the angle of the camera that’s making them look longer.
Even though she’s not model height, her legs are amazing!
I am not a huge fan of acting, but she always looks great. Ahh, except, I sometimes she her slouching. she seems like a nice person.

I’m wondering why she chose an English name for her brand. Do people even associate her with her English name? Or perhaps that’s the point? Like she wants her clothes to be independent of her image?
Wait, seriously?! She’s noted as a Barbie doll?! Personally, after watching her in many of her dramas, I think she’s very thin, as in, scary thin. But hey, it’s just my opinion.

I don’t think her boobs are fake. I mean, if they were fake, then why in the world would they be saggy? Silicon doesn’t sag like that. The only thing she’s done is her eyes.

even friends apparently from the days back when she lived in the states say she’s the same
so she did not seem to get any sort of surgery (boobs/nose/etc.) except her eyes (i believe she admitted to them, and also you can see the light scars on her eyelids from the surgery… but her pre-surgery eyes were also gorgeous so there isn’t really a huge difference)
and there are a ton more korean celebs who’ve done much more than eyes
so people need to just give her a break on the whole plastic thing
in her dramas like autumn tale/delightful girl choon-hyang/only you/fireworks she’s been COVERING up her chest to hide her bust size, so what would’ve been the point of breast implants?
and no one, at least not most koreans, gets such large implants anyway
pics circulated a while ago comparing an old pic of her to a new pic, trying to prove that she got implants. she was just wearing looser clothing! ugh.
