Hi Javabeans! I recently got addicted to this drama. I’ve been putting it off the longest time but I decided to give it a try when I’ve read a lot of good reviews about it and when I read your drama recaps. Is there any chance that the second season will push through with a different female lead? If so, who do you think would be best suited for her character?

i hope the second season of LS is still on! any latest news pls javabeans? I just enjoyed & loved this drama — at first when a friend recommended I see this i wasn’t so excited about it & thought it’s not that interesting but i just finished the dvd i bought & i just loved it! JJH & late actress Choi had a good chem. it’s too bad she’s no longer with us to continue with the role she played so well in this drama! This drama is one of the best i’ve seen, funny, sad moments too & i’m just so glad to learn they’re going to be a second season. I can’t wait really! I love Jong Joon — he’s a terrific actor!

I have been an avid reader of your blog but have not watched this drama. I wanted to try it out after I had confirmed that it had a happy ending. But I am not so happy about the second season. The reason I love Korean dramas is because unlike American soaps they are short and have an ending. They don’t run for twenty something years. Having said that I would watch sequels if they had the original cast and if I really loved the drama like Sweet Spy and Goong. Bye the way I was initially disappointed that you did not recap Powerful Opponents. I had a hard time understanding the drama without English subs ( I am not Korean). But I saw the last episode and it was not the happy ending I was expecting and the drama lost me around episode 11. Usually I agree with most of your choices and I think I will give Last Scandal a try.

i finished the series and it didn’t really show like a hint of a second season. i liked the ending, it was sweet :] i’m so excited to watch the second season!!! i hope it’ll be good!!!
