If everyone that is successful in life followed the advice of some of you they would never have obtained as much as they have. Haven't you ever heard of the expression that failure is the stepping stone to success?

I don't consider Rain's world tour as a failure when you look at all of the concerts he did in Asia plus the 2 in Las Vegas that were successful.

I flew into Los Angeles from Washington for the concert with my husband. We stood outside of the Staples Center waiting to go in until they made the announcement of the cancellation, and then we flew out the next day. I had no trouble getting our money back within a few days. I think you should be careful to get tickets for concerts from good reliable companies.

I felt very sorry for Rain that the concert had to be cancelled not because of what he did, but a situation that couldn't be helped on his part. My husband and I talked to the security men and they told us of the situation, and how upset Rain was that he was not able to perform....they saw him up to the time of the announcement and they knew what he was going through.

Rain's hair and loss of weight was necessary for "Ninja Assassin" and was not his choice.

I recently read an interview of Rain in a Giant Robot magazine, and he is ambitious as you say he is, and then some. he's seems super hardworking. i respect him for that but i don't think he should build himself up for disappointment.

If I could meet him, I'd say "come back to Korea & Asia. what's the big deal with this American dream?"

I'm not a Rain fan, but I command him for being willing to try out new things... it's kind of interesting to see how far he will go (and the reason I can say this is probably because I'm not his fan. If I were a very devoted fan, all his recent projects would probably make me nervous cuz I wouldn't want him to fail and get hurt, etc.) I wish he would work on his English pronunciation a little more though. Maybe it's less the pronunciation itself but the gestures and mouth movement and the head shaking he does when he speaks English that annoys me.

Yeah, we all support who we want to. Once someone takes my money, though, I have no mercy. And I don't think I'm the only one. Seems that there are more anti-fans than fans these days.

But i was one of the lucky ones. All I lost out on was my airfare, hotel stay and other expenditures that I wouldn't have incurred had I not gone to L.A. There are still 'fans' in Toronto who couldn't even recoup the money from their concert tickets, much less the money that it took to travel there. But you know what? We were the stupid ones for doing it in the first place (because we had FAITH and LOVE enough to support this person), so we can't really blame anyone else.

We just have to learn from these experiences and carry on. If you still love the guy, okay, fine, you set yourself up for more of the same. Me, on the other hand ... I just wish he would go away.

"I think Rain is at his best when he’s not overextending himself and trying to do a dozen different things simultaneously in his attempt to conquer the world; hopefully this marks a return to more successful endeavors."

I couldn't agree more! I really wish he'd take on step at a time and not try to be a superhero and clash everything he wants to do together. Plus, I miss his dancing and singing. I hope his album WILL be able to release in October.

And Rain, please cut your hair. you make me cry T_T

Gah, that world tour cancellation is like century-old..He won the case and the buyers were refunded (well, most of them I guess)..

Its Rain's plan and its a good thing to try out new things..step forward you know, aside from being just confined in your comfort zones..Oh well, if he doesn't succed crossing over, just give him the time to cherish the experience at least, that on a certain history of Kpop, a guy named Bi was able to own a hollywood movie (I'm talking about Ninja Assassin), *insert all his achievements here*..

If he doesn't try all these things, I'm sure some would again go "He's getting boring and old"..so its just the same stuff wherever he plans to venture..Me? I'm supporting him all the way..If he succeeds, then woohh!I'm the happiest fan in the world! If not, then I'm one of the "true" ones that will still support him..
