Because she has such a raw quality about her. Untrained yet was able to succesfully transform from pop singer to actress and a Best Actress at that. A huge feat for a girl product of a Pop Group. I like MGY too but YEH just has this something called "star appeal". Sometimes being a good actress is not enough. There are plenty of great actresses out there, but they lack a certain uuumph for them to get that extra recognition. Just thought I'd share my opinion on the matter as well. I personally love YEH’s acting more.

And just wait a minute, why bring up Yoon Eun Hye's name in the first place? It's you people who keep making a big issue about her and compare her to other actresses to begin with.
