In lifeinkorea.com, “…According to government records, Chun-hyang, Lee Mon-ryong, and Byeon Hak-do were all real people. The major differences between the legend and fact are that Chun-hyang committed suicide and Lee Mong-ryong’s name was different…people from different social levels did not marry. Knowing this, Chun-hyang killed herself after Lee left because of her unfulfilled love…Lee could not forget about Chun-hyang, even when he was old. His love was so deep for Chun-hyang that he would often visit Namwon and talk with the old kisaeng about her…”

I actually fave this episode for once, not because of the gisaeng and their hanbok (which reminds me is noticably fashioned after HJI…), but because of the final part, when So-wol and Hyo-rang’s love…

One thing I always like about your site is I’m exposed to all kinds of different K music aside from pop and really mainstream I wouldn’t be able to know about really anywhere else.

This is my first time hearing a song by Gun Mo. I definetly found myself attracted to his voice. I know he’s been around for awhile. I wonder if this song is old or from his more recent stuff.
