Kwon Sang-woo fan-signs, fans sigh

Fans lined up en masse on August 30 to get a look at their favorite movie heartthrob before he officially goes off the market. After all, Kwon Sang-woo only has about a month left of bachelorhood before tying ye ol’ marital knot to Sohn Tae-young on September 28.
He signed autographs and shook hands at his last fan-signing event before his marriage, at a Home Plus (a retail store) in the city of Cheonan in South Chungcheong Province.
(Maybe this is just me, but it doesn’t it seem like kind of a, erm, weird event for such a huge star? I mean, would George Clooney sign autographs at a makeshift booth at Wal-Mart? I’d betcha Yonsama wouldn’t.)

Aww...he must be thinking for his fiance so that she won't get as jealous too easily. Lol, can you imagine all the preetty fangirls screaming for his attention and getting way too close? Cuz he ain't married yet (well that's what an irrational fangirly would do, right?)

I actually find it weird and oddly amusing how the huge stars like kwon sang woo, bae yong jun, song seong hun etc seem to attract throngs of ahjummas at meets like these and not so many screaming fangirls. I mean seriously, I don't think I can spot any women under 35 in the pics above!

Yeh. I agree. Does seem extremely weird! Maybe because of the backlash of his impending marriage he is concern so trying to make himself more available!

Dunno about that... if I was a star, as long as the security was tight, I would do malls too. Easy access to fans and if shit hits the fan, multiple escape routes.
A lot of big MBA stars do signings at malls. Though I guess I can see why you'd think it's weird for an actor.

I think it was nice of him to go to that place ( "a Home Plus (a retail store) in the city of Cheonan in South Chungcheong Province") to sign autographs. Those fans probably wouldn't have a chance to see him up close and personal even if they go to Seoul.
I don't know how true it is, but a friend from Taipei said she heard that some CFs were cancelled--and he was being sued?--after he announced that he was getting married

he is such a big star, so this is surprising that he would agree to it. that makes him seem pretty cool. but maybe he got a fat paycheck for his appearance.
