chae rim is always look adorable and pretty. i like her since “all about eve”. that’s why i’m so fanatic of korean series esp. her series. i hope she do another drama w/ jang dong gun.

I watched all about eve recently and i have become so fond of the couple Chae Rim and Jang Dong Gun. I actually want to be a real life couple..Strange!

Chae Rim was the best dressed of them all. She was very classy and stood out among the grishly dressed ladies. She knows that “less is more”.

Jang Dong Gun looked fabulous too. Both Chae Rim and JDG’s outfits complemented each other. They would been the highlight of the evening if they walked the red carpet together holding hands; the most gorgeous couple of the event.

Oh thanks! I’m a bit bummed to hear it wasn’t so good, because I’m sort of thinking of changing my life and move somewhere in Asia… and I’m interested in Korea. Would’ve been great to see how average “foreigners” (not celebrities) deal with the challange that living in a country which is so radically different from theirs is. Know what I mean?

sere, Misuda is the variety/talk show translated as “Chatting with Beautiful Women,” “Chatting with Beauties,” “Global Talk Show.” It features a panel of non-Koreans living in Korea, to talk about a range of topics and their personal experiences of being a foreigner in Korea.

In concept, i can get behind it, but I personally find the show silly and borderline sexist at times. A few faux-”scandals” have surrounded a few of the panelists, like Jamilya being deemed “too sexy” and one of the Chinese panelists being discovered to be actually ethnically Korean: http://www.dramabeans.com/2008/04/global-talk-show-not-quite-as-global-as-it-thinks/

Criticism has also pointed out that the show has strayed from its initial intention, which was to show what normal life was like for non-Koreans. But now that the Misuda ladies have taken on pseudo-celebrity status of their own (a handful have pursued acting and singing careers), it’s obscured the focus of the show.

They tried a male version, but that was met with unfortunate results:

The only thing I can think of is that the Misuda girls either a) didn’t get the memo on how big of an event it is, or b) don’t know where to get formal dresses in Korea?

*blinks* Jang Dong-gun looks like a better, more attractive and stylish version of Orlando Bloom and GAH, why did I have to see the resemblance? I hate my brain sometimes.

Huh, who are the Misuda girls? I’ve tried googling them, but I got mixed and contrasting results. *is clueless*

Love Kim Min-joon’s attire. I particularly dig his hairstyle. *g*

wow…the misuda ladies look ghetto compared to everyone else… it’s unfortunate they don’t have crazy bank or personal stylists like the other celebs do to dress themselves up a bit…
