Maybe I haven’t been keeping up with Clazziquai much, or maybe I was sidetracked because singers Alex and Horan have been so busy with their solo careers — he with his TV appearances (We Got Married) and she with her indie project band Ibadi. In any case, I wasn’t aware that the electronica group was preparing a new release, but they have put out a new album on October 24, their first project back together in a year.
A rep from their music label Fluxus explained that this album takes a departure from Clazziquai’s previous albums, focusing on a more “powerful and hard electronic” sound.
The album went on sale first online, and will be available for offline sale on November 6.

i hope they still have some pieces that feature alex’s lovely voice in a softer way. those were always my favorites
but it’s nice to see clazzi’s experimenting with their sound. can’t wait to hear the rest of it! <3
Wow no one knows where to get the album yet? I got it three days ago, it’s everywhere, and I do mean EVERYWHERE. And I’m probably in the minority, but I love this album so hard. Flea is addictive.
Oh and it’s not just you. No one knows about this album until a few days ago. They like to keep things quiet

I like the song. It has a very strong sound. I can tell a certain Daft Punk influence. At times he reminds me a bit of the lead singer of Human League. But Clazziquai still themselves. I like it.
WoW!!! i’ve been out of touch with Clazziquai as well…I like them a TON but (sadly) had no clue they had just realised an album. I’m super excited for it (and am in the mist of a mad rush to find songs/videos posted online)…and yes, “Flea” (despite its questionable lyrics) is addictive!
