Fashion Week runway features Lee Yeon-hee
by | October 21, 2008 | 14 Comments

The runway show for designer Jo Sung-kyung at Seoul’s Fashion Week featured two actors leading the pack of fashion moddles, East of Eden‘s Lee Yeon-hee and Women In the Sun‘s Jung Kyeo-woon (also of La Dolce Vita).

The show took place on the afternoon of October 21 at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention center (SETEC) under the name “Il de Dokdo,” aka “trip to Dokdo” (I’ve previously mentioned the contentious land dispute surrounding the island).

No doubt Lee Yeon-hee looks sweet and pretty, but girl is not a natural runway model. Awkward posture mars an adorable look (although I’m not sold on wearing a white camisole under a sheer black top, even if you ARE adding a teeny twee hat to make it look more dignified):

I think I need this dress, though perhaps sans the hat:

I don’t like the long dress.. it looks so not pretty waist down?
It would have been better it was a mini gown.. LYH would have rawked it more.

Anywayz, she’s pretty enough.. lovely girl indeed..

    She looks alright.
Yeah, short dress would’ve looked better on her~

i think it’s the curve at the end of her eyes that makes her so pretty. i really adore her.

The clothes are nice, but Il de Dokdo? Dokdo barely has anything…why would you want to wear these clothes to Dokdo? Not sure if I get the concept…

LYH looks gorgeous. the dresses are ok but i think she makes them look a lot better.

Yeah…the camisole was a mistake. Is it really that difficult to just sew in a top? Honestly. But I like the skirt bit, and that dress is beautiful. I’d wear that dress, with that teeny tiny hat from the first outfit, lol. I also like that everything (at least from what I can see) is WEARABLE. It may be ungodly expensive, but it’s appropriate for a gala. If I see another bejeweled painted feather dress from Alexander McQueen I’m going to go nuts–tell me Alexander WHERE can I wear that dress of yours? Hm? Big Bird throwing a party?

i think she is a way better actress than a model.
