As I read your comment about blaming Kang Hyun’s mom’s decision on hormones, I started thinking about how valid that is, reinforcing a too-well-accepted concept in out society. But I was a bit relieved when we see Kyung Hwan kinda personalyzing the idea by mentioning the fact that Kang Hyun and her mom are prone to overracting on account of hormonal imballance, giving us a hint that it’s not necessarily that it’s so for every woman, but more specifically for the two of them. This might be just me reading too much into it, but I was appeased.

On a side note, I feel kinda sorry for Hyun Soo having no skills to deal with a woman whose reactions baffle him on account of the fact he’s apparently never had to deal with a woman who has violent inicial reactions before – Hwa Young seems to never have given him an actual hard time about anything (apart from nagging him to drop his brother, of course). I’m hoping they have him take some action, as well, instead of having Kang Hyun just come around and let it go.
