Sean and Jung Hye-young, still ridiculously in love
How about something light for a change?
Remember the days of old-school kpop and the pop duo Jinusean?
Well, both Jinu and Sean (aka Noh Seung-hwan) have gone their separate ways professionally, but Sean — who has since gotten married and had a couple adorable kiddies — is now again in the public eye by appearing on a variety program with his wife, Jung Hye-young. They’ll appear on the October 8 broadcast of Gold Fish, displaying their couple-y charm and dishing about life before and since marriage (the appearance also marks the couple’s four-year wedding anniversary).
To give you a taste of the aww-inducing sentiments expressed, Sean told of how “The very existence of my wife thrills me.” Jung Hye-young returned the feeling, saying, “My husband has no faults. I don’t see anything wanting in him.” (Are you gagging — out of affection! — yet? No really, it’s sickeningly sweet, but in a happy sort of way.)

I remember watching Sean perform for a year-end MBC award show in 04′ when Jung Hye-young was seated in front of the stage. Sean walked down the stage and sang for Jung Hye-young near the end of the song. They looked so in love and adorable.

i think Jung Hye Young is lucky to have a very loving hubby. he gives her personally written cards and they took photos of some of the cards he gave her and put them in the book. they also have so many photos with many ridiculously(in a positive way) photos expressing their love. like wearing all the same outfit etc…such a very loving couple…and i would not wonder if Sean said that about his wife. In every card he gave her, it showed how much he adored his wife.

Nice to see an enduring marriage every once in awhile.
i also watched the show and was inspired by the way they lived their lives focusing on love rather than money, which is a sadly rare outlook in this status/wealth obsessed world. the story of how they ended up donating their cf wages is simple and touching, and sean’s words, that no matter the station in life, if one gives his or her all in the little things to spread the happiness, such is a truly successful life, resonates with me. even my cynical brother said they had a certain “light” to them. i especially appreciate the description jung hye young gave of her husband…”constant”.
it was definitely gag-inducing sweetness that we all secretly crave and want to believe.
I freaking love this couple. Everything they do is just adorable. It’s hard to imagine that he once had a “tough” hip-hop image when he’s with his family.

i wasn’t into kpop back then but jinusean came out on ydh’s loveletter recently, and he brought her daughter, and even sang/rapped while holding her @ the end during an encore performance. she just kinda slept though, must’ve been tired, haha. but so cute!!

i love this couple. they’re what you call an ideal marriage for me (& should be for every1 else). if i ever get married, i wish to be like them. their marriage’s so unselfish & genuine. & i also wish to be generous & humble like them when i make enough money.
