im still a bit reluctant to continue watching this.
although sure, reading some insights and inputs have helped a bit.
i agree its all really pretty and stuff.
but somehow im not as drawn to it. i cant quite explain it.

maybe after the the slew of dramas i watch get lighter
i will give it a try though later on..
its on my list.
lol.

I try to avoid reading everything and only read the pros/cons so as not to ruin the story. : ) I’m waiting for it to be subbed in English so I can enjoy it. I haven’t done this for a series in a while hopefully this will be good. : P

Thanks to everyone for their lovely comments on this! I was really nervous about how it would go, but the appreciation meakes me feel good about writing this :33

@vrosemarie: Oh ho ho, pedo-bear sage he is not. Hong Do is far from being a sage; he likes to be loose and informal, lacking the basic “air” and totally killing any grace that he needs to be sage-like *laughs* He isn’t the sage-wise man-Yoda-mentor that I thought that he’d be, and I’m glad because that would just make the relationship so unnatural and strange

@Sevenses: LOL. I know. That tiger kind of made me go “Errr…?” well actually, made me go a LOT “Errrr…?” But I thought that it really showed how much he’s willing to do for art. I mean, he is in exile, so why not go and draw a few tigers

I DO dig cinematography. Aesthetics make things prettier, and it catches one’s attention. It’s really well done here.

I’d like to reply to everyone’s comments in this post, but it’s already gotten very long ;-; But I want to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to express your appreciation! Thanks for reading!

Last time I got over-excited about a drama before watching it, it was My Girl (which dissappointed me greatly)… So I’m trying not to get too excited here but the soundtrack is beautiful… The pedo bear sage thing probably takes some getting used to, I remember I was uncomfortable about it in Innocent Steps because Moon Geun Young just looks sooooo young! And this man is even older than the other guy! But he looks like a lovable character… Thanks for your insight, it really helps for people who are thinking of watching this drama!
