even though i was a domiyoji fan im sure i’ll be rooting for Kim Hyun Jung’s character. He’s soooooo goood-looking. I wish they swapped characters. but anyways…go RUI!

finally they came out w/ a poster that’s to die for love gu hye sun’s pic…so “manga like” & she looks really young here w/o really trying. As for flower boys? Definitely Eye Candies !!! Hope this show will live up to the hype….they’ve got a pretty decent cast Can’t wait to see PD’s version of HYD.

Not impressed with Go Hye Sun’s picture. I dont like how she’s trying way too hard to be cute…I actually find it irritating.
And Holy smokes the amount of airbrushing they did on her face just to make her look young, it’s so ridiculously obvious!

Actually during the photoshoot vid, you could actually see Goo Hye Sun doing a “fighting” pose, posing tough and etc.

I guess its just they chose the “cute” picture for the posters :/

And for those who did not watch her drama something 19, she was able to portray being the cute and honest, yet the way she acted with the main lead guy and how they were fighting with eachother and bickering and called him names, I think she will be able to show that “tough” side of Makino ^^;;

And lets not forget her role as the Queen in the sageuk the “King and I”. That role was far from trying to be cute or the icky girls who are completely helpless, as she was able to portray the Queen quite nicely as the queen, imo. (And the Queen in the drama was the sort of the “tough’ and “strong willed” woman… who wasnt shy from telling the truth and standing up for it. So I dont think GHS will have trouble trying to be “tough” yet at the same time, be loveable and cute ^^;;)

Of-course, whether or not she can portray those sides…. i hope the scripts are well written…. I mean, even if GHS can be tough, if the script makes her say to be more cute, wouldnt she have to be more cute???

As for Mr. Curly Curly Perm, after a while perms start to get…. “loose”. Like if its the perm right from the salon, it will be quite curly… but after a while, the perm will start to “loosen”… Since perm’s arent forever and after some time they will go back to its original ‘form”, I think after a while the perm wouldnt be so curly and be more natural as time passes and the perm starts to loosen and straighten out to its original… hair… form ^^;;;

And since Hyunjoon has adult phobia… I hope he will manage to “survive”.

As for Kim Bum…. meh. He’s a good actor, but his image… well.. playboy? Than again, even if his image isnt like that, if he’s a good actor he will be able to act out that role so that perhaps we wont see him in the drama and look at him as “Actor Kim Bum” but truely seem him in the drama as “F4 Yi Jung”

And I hope thats the same with the rest. Not look at them as who they are in real life, but to actually see them as if they truly are the characters from the drama. I think thats what makes dramas fun…. to forget who they are in real life, and look at the as real people from the story… if that made sense >.<

Since I think that its not fun to associate actors with what they are like in reality… since in dramas, thats the whole point of “acting” where they can become people 180 degrees different from who they are in rl…. well… mostly for good actors/actresses anyways and their acting skills.. :O

The more I see the promo posters, the more I like them. I’m not really feeling the little comments of the characters in the individual promo posters, but it works. For some reason, the comments feel a bit tacky when written in first-person, with an exception of Jun-pyo’s.

He looks really young, compared to the other F4 actors. Which makes sense, considering he still a teenager (1989-er). In my eyes, Kim Bum is the only one who could realistically pass off as a high schooler. The rest look like they’ve hit puberty quite early. I don’t mind it that much though, especially since the F4 in the manga are probably supposed to look very enhanced and demi-god-ish than the average high school boy.

There’s also the fact that Matusoda Shota and Kim Bum have different feels, for the lack of a better word: Matusoda Shota had the sexy womanizer thing going on in the J-adaptation, while Kim Bum looks more like the cute, sweet boy-next-door. But considering Kim Bum’s acting skills, I think he could bring a different aspect to his character that would still be consistent with the original: more boyish, more playful — which is how I saw Soujiro in the manga anyway. Though I did really like Matusoda Shota’s portrayal…

Yikes! I’d say that the 1st pic is cute but her eyes scare the crap out of me! Do actors not see how unnatural (some ET-like) they are with those big-eyes lens?

i love jun-pyo’s tagline! its just so tsukasa and they way they permed his hair was exactly like in hanadan’s manga! best adaptation of all! moreover tsukasa was supposed to be the tallest of the rest, the japanese version didnt potray it.. guess korean one is the best though =)
