I do not condone what JSM did to CJS, but I think the Korean netizens can be way too one-sided and too aggressive. We never know what happened in a marriage and no one should pass any judgments, whether good or bad. Although it may seem like JSM is only after CJS’s money, we never know what his true intentions were. Maybe he sincerely wants to be a part of his children’s future. Give the guy a chance maybe? It may be difficult to grasp for the time being, but who knows it may benefit the kids in the long run.

@huh-I think it means both. I don’t know Chinese, but even in English, there are two meanings. A positive, and a negative one. Either you aren’t easily offended or hurt, or you’re shameless. I’ve seen it used both ways.

Positive:
“The rumors must be hurting her.”
“No, she’s thick-skinned. She can take it.”

Negative:
“Oh my gosh! I can’t believe she’s showing up with the boyfriend she stole from her best friend! How thick-skinned is that?”
