There were some questions raised after preliminary news came out about Lee Junki‘s new drama series, but it’s official now: Lee Junki will be taking a (modern-day) hero role starring in the drama Unseen War [보이지 않는 전쟁].
(The series has a new title, but the plot is the same as before, when it was called “Heroes” or “Strange Heroes.” Lee plays a man fixated purely on success who loses a loved one, then decides to fight crime on behalf of the weak.)

This new roll sounds very similar to Iljimae (hero fighting for justice on behalf of the weak/poor)
As versatile as he is, why not choose something different, more refreshing & challenged.
It also sounds like Batman. Which would be pretty cool if Korea decided to take a dramatic dramatic approach to this….however, I doubt it. I’m just picturing this turning out as a cheesy comedy. Blerg.

i was just wondering when is it going to be aired? heard this news a while a go but still no news when it’ll be released. I am so thrilled to watch this new drama of his. The previous two action dramas of his are certainly in my favourite list. hope this one would be too.

I was hoping for something more challenging, something he can’t do ? Heroes, fighting, we’ve all seen him in action like that already. Iljimae was good, but he only started fighting in the middle of the series. I really hope his next one turns out to be good. I’m really interested if this turns out good or not.

Talented , good looking actor , again will shadow leading actress as always .It is
very hard to have K actress compatible to K actor . In Cain and Abel , SJS is far more talented , more cool cute looking than HJM , again in capital scandal KJK is more good looking than HJM .
For me , only in Jumong , lead actor and actress are compartible in talent and in look .
HJM is only looks good in traditional outfits , she is to short for fashion outfits , just my opinions .
