The older we get, the quicker it seems that time passes by. I hope 2008 is a memorable year for everyone.

Hehe, I remember I had taken a beginner’s Figure Skating class a few years back and each of us took turns picking out music to skate to. I had chosen the Plans album by Death Cab for Cutie. Good stuff to glide and/or fall on your ass to.

I hear you! It’s Christmas again ALREADY!
Every year I say I’ll start shopping earlier and once again here I am 2 weeks to go and nothing done. Too much drama watching, too little shopping.
OMG! Did I just say “too little shopping”. I think dramas have overtaken my shopping obsession!

  7. GeeNie

that’s an awesome question esp. since today is my bday and i’m already 20. i woke up this morning feeling somewhat the same but as the day goes on i’m thinking…where did those 20 years go for goodness sakes???

  8. cosmopolite

    Let it be Christmas already.

Ugh. It’s POURING down rain here and I have to take the bus into work today. Ick. But–it’s supposed to get cold enough to snow tonight, which would be fantastic. I haven’t seen snow in a long time : )

God what a week, a dead dog, brain tumours and migraines.

  11. 11 milagirll

GeeNie….First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!….Second, you think 20 years goes by fast? Wait til you hit 22 (going on 23). Then you’ll really be wondering where they went!!

This is random but I just visited FOFansubs blog (http://fofansubs.wordpress.com/) and they appeared to have posted the application form for people to fill out to become members since it’s an exclusive community now. If anybody have a chance to look at their application, I think it’s ridiculous that they require people to provide their ADDRESS and TELEPHONE number. Releasing these private information can lead to credit frauds…etc…

Yeah…time just keep flying away. It’s the only thing that never waits for us…

The older I grow the more I think about the things I couldn’t manage to do or could have done better. It makes me feel like putting more effort into present goals and give up on satisfactions that might hinder their success.

  14. 14 kotatsulove

i love love LOVE death cab for cutie!!!

also, has anyone seen Capital Scandal? I’m looking for some dramas to watch and I was wondering if it was any good.

I am missing the DCFC concert in Tucson because I have to work….complete lameness since my friend has an extra ticket.

So that song makes me feel even worse:(….thank God it is Friday, I am at work for another 3 hours and then I can relax for the rest of the day.

Sometimes time seems slow and other times fast, but I am just glad this semester is over and I am one semester away from college graduation:)

Spent the week studying for exams, so it actually passed excruciatingly slowly, but something in the back of my head is still shrieking ‘Exams already?!’

One more week of exams, and then I’ll be freeeeeeeee!! Meanwhile, I have calf-deep snow to shovel. :D

Oh, btw, anyone watching BBC’s Merlin and anxious about the finale?

  17. 17 Jessica

I can’t believe there’s been so little news about the Navy jet that crashed into a San Diego home and killed 3 people (a grandma, the mother, and her daughter!) :(

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/12/09/military.jet.crash/index.html

Is this big news in Korea?

  18. 18 vis

Hahaha, same question I ask every week… and Christmas is only 12 days away! Time just flies and leaves you behind the older you get, that’s howi t feels like anwyay ^^;;; I’m really grateful it’s friday though… need to weekend to catch up on my sleep!

  19. 19 Secret Sunshine

What’s your favorite Christmas movie classic?

  20. 20 rocketfuel

so…..who thinks Dramabeans is hot? Poll? :-o

  21. 21 javabeans

    I do!

  22. 22 belleza

javabeans is a hottie, a sweetie, a beanie, and a baby.

However, dramabeans has had more surgery than Seo In Young’s nose. S-line, B-line, A-line, Z-line. OMG Becky, look at her nose. She must be one of those rappers’ girlfriends. They only talk to her because her nose looks like a total prostitute. I mean, her nose, is just so big. I can’t believe it’s just so round . . .

  23. 23 de

    I DO I DO !!!

  24. 24 Anu

    Me too, a total hottie!

  25. 25 nycgrl

since it is near the end of the year what is a good drama to watch? I’m pretty picky (loved white tower and resurrection but hated coffee prince) and I haven’t watched anything since “who are you?”.

Since I’ll have some time during the holidays to do some all nighters I thought I would ask if there is anything worthwhile to watch,

  26. 26 mehreen

CanNOT wait till this semester’s over…my brain feels like mush from all the stress of finals.

Been having a drama drought for a month now…can some kind soul please please recommend a worthwhile drama that’s light and funny with people who know how to act?? Please? I think I’m suffering…

  27. 27 quicksilver18

Z-Line…keke…now what does that look like?

  28. 28 epyc

Watchj Lawyers of Korea (Hanminguo) – one of the best this year. Light , but not fluffy, with good engaging characters.

  29. 29 belleza

    @kotatsulove,

“also, has anyone seen Capital Scandal?”

Still my favorite Kang Ji Hwan show and one of the best KBS productions from 2007. He’s absolutely a ball, working it as if this was a musical theatre production. Also, the story flows like a novel, and so every episode develops the elements from before. It has room to be both shamelessly silly and poignantly tragic, and everybody (except a very midget-y Han Ji Min) look absolutely stunning. If you like zoot soot riots, hot swing music, and a little murder in the capital, this one is for ya!

“recommend a worthwhile drama that’s light and funny with people who know how to act??”

Have you seen Last Scandal of My Life?

    @nycgrl,

“I’m pretty picky (loved white tower and resurrection but hated coffee prince) and I haven’t watched anything since “who are you?”.”

Painter in the Wind, Le Dolce Vita, Scale of Providence.

    @belleza,

“Have you seen Last Scandal of My Life?”

Yep, seen it and loved it. It’s also been the Last Good Drama of My Life for a few months now…
