I’m sure a 6-to-5 workday isn’t what “Six to Five” means, but it sure seems like it, doesn’t it?
Perhaps to give his project a kick-start, Rain recently posed for a spread for new fashion line Six to Five in preparation for the brand launch.
The shoot took place over the weekend in the Philippines, and Rain will be representing the brand himself as the model for the 2009 season. Six to Five will hold its “launching show” on December 23 (no holiday rest for the workaholic?), at which Rain will strut the catwalk with about ten other fashion models.
The event will also serve as a “mini-concert” where he’ll perform seven of his hit tunes. The CEO of Rain’s company JTune Entertainment explains that Rain wanted a chance to wish his fans a merry Christmas in the absence of a year-end concert.
Let me get this straight: Rain has personally designed parts of his fashion brand, for which he’s shot promo ads and is acting as brand model. He’s performing double-duty at the fashion show, modeling and singing, as explained by the entertainment company he operates. A healthy ambition is all and well, but dude, you don’t have to mix ALL of your individual efforts into one thing. At this point, there are too many fingers and too many pies.

I dunno. After all the celebs who just show up and smile for pictures at the launches of fashion lines/perfumes/books/etc that they barely had anything to do with, other than lending their name, its sort of refreshing to see someone who takes full creative interest. Nobody can claim this isn’t his brand….

Thank goodness someone else commented about the tattoo. I’m not a fan. I normally love tattoos, but dude, did he seriously just get a ROCKET SHIP ON HIS CHEST?! Did he just go to a tattoo shop and randomly point to one of their samples?! This tattoo is not artistic and does not even enhance his physical appearance.
The “Tattoo” is the logo for “Six to Five”. The logo was superimposed onto the photo.

Sadly, Rain doesn’t take photos with FANS. He’d take a photo with anyone else ie. friends of staff, business associates etc. Anyone but those who pay his salary.
Did I mention that his fans were stuck at the back of the hall during the event?
I agree blah, he does not care about his fans like he used to. He has just gotten to big and feel he is above the people who buy his products. His ego is as rock hard as his new abs.

I loved him when he was humble but now he just thinks to highly of himself.
