Lee Min Ho’s interpretation of the main character is what drawed me to this version of HYD.

The English ‘slang’ used by Woo-Bin character sounds so cheesy and lame. It had me cringing.

I have been a fan of this manga and I loved both the Taiwanese version (season 1 only) and the Japanese version so I was very happy to know that there was going to be a Korean one. However after watching the first episode I cringed…this is exactly like the above two version mixed and spat out again. I could not go on and the girl’s overacting even though the guys are hot but it’s just not enough.

LOL I totally agree with you on the English; its completely hilarious when they use it. Especially Kim Joon. I lovelovelove Kim Hyun Joong playing as Ji-Hoo though; he is forever my favorite charactar. Im completely in love. I like Lee Min-ho but haaaatee Goo joon-pyo. He’s extremely slowly growing on me, but I was heartbroken when they ended up together! :/

omg this drama sucks i dont know how people can say this is the best drama and so on and so forth and even go o n to watch this a second time the girl lead is soo annoying she really trys to act cute and totally overdoes it…at a certain point when someone says something all she says is what? in a dumb tone she kinda forced me to learn how to learn to say what in korean by force.i’m tired of Ji hoo blank expressions

This is a poor synopsis. Quite superficial. Boys Before Flowers: the development of the plot and the development of all of the characters come to one thing, coming out of superficial worldly selfishness, into responsible maturity. And, the painful jouney it takes to get there. How the people in our lives are put there to help us along this journey and how important it is to learn to be true both to them and to ourselves. This series, and the lesson contained within the story line of it certainly must show the very best of Korean society. Although I must admit that my experience with same is quite limited, this series makes me desire to experience it.
