On the same day as his castmate Kim Hyun-joong‘s small traffic collision, actor Kim Joon (“Woo-bin” of Boys Before Flowers) was also in a minor car accident.
Kim Joon’s incident actually occurred first but was reported later; it took place in Seoul on the morning of January 22. The other vehicle was a taxi, but the collision was so minor that the involved parties managed to settle things on the spot, according to Kim’s management. Nobody was injured.
Thankfully it’s not something worth getting excited about. On the other hand, now I have an excuse to post these newly released photos of Kim Joon, below the cut:
I know this is probably sacrilegious to say, but Kim Joon almost reminds me of Jang Dong-gun in these pictures. I think it’s the sleepy eyes, mostly, although there are similarities in the nose and mouth region too.

i was speechless when i saw the first pic yesterday……too gorgeous for words…haa.
he’s also super good looking. i mean, the F4 were cast for their looks if not for their acting ability.
my mom and i have been saying to ourselves that it would be nice to see more of Woo Bin in BBF. He’s presently just a background character, but he can be so much more! Maybe as the voice of reason, but with his character fleshed out.
Kim Joon is holding his scenes well, and he’s having fun with his character. It shows =D

I didn’t really like or care for him much when I first saw him, but as I continue to watch Boys Before Flowers, he’s begun to grow on me.
Isn’t his voice so velvety? I’m always surprised and delighted by his voice…even when it’s preceeded by “yo” first.

I’m glad no one was injured! He does have a pleasant voice (and his gansta English is hilarious). I’m hoping that his character will have more screen time and maybe we will see some of his background (Akira was the voice of reason in the group, and the story at the end of volume 36 was centered around him).
Gawddd.. he’s so darn freakin’ handsome! I love the way he looks. I felt he’s a little bit left out compare to the others F4 popularity. Come on, guys.. why is it always Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum or Hyun Joong? F4 won’t be F4 with Woo Bin, am I right? Thank you JavaBeans for posting his pics!
awe! i’m glad he’s alright… though i think i’m in the minority when i say i wish he was as popular as the other F4 members. i mean he’s good-looking, can act (from what little dialogue he’s given), and has definitely got that young Jang Dong-gun appeal to him… the haircut/styling certainly helps. thanks so much for spreading the luv javabeans!
He’s definitely good looking, I actually prefer him over Kim Hyun-joong, but the other two flowers are sooo much better IMO (feel free to disagree, it’s just my taste).

I hope he has more screentime and lines in Boys Over Flowers. I think he’s doing a great job portraying his role. I think for a newbie his acting very natural and good.

I am glad there is someone other than me thinks that he sorta looks like JDG! When I first saw him on the BBF poster, I thought, JDG!!! well, I heard that even before he became a singer girls literally followed him everywhere that he couldn’t have his normal life.

But the next pictures don’t really do him justice. I think it’s his clothing, the top half looks like he’s rocking a cowboy feel then the bottom half looks like he’s about to go show-jumping…Suppose both careers involve horses, so close enough? Haha.

i wonder if it’s just me but although he looks pretty good in pics i think he’s so much more attractive on-screen, like he’s a different person….he’s way hot on-screen & moving, that is until he does that “yo yo yo u da man” schpeal!
first pic was the best out of the bunch, rest of them looked a little bit like those pictures you take at the mall with your friends.

My second fav’ F4. He is so suave and cool in BBF. Like the way he talks…..he seems to drawl. At least that’s how it sounds to my ears. Those eyes look naughty like they know a thing or two. He should have been the player. Kim Bum looks too wholesome.
I’m just so amazed that he’s actually the oldest out of all the F4 guys. Can’t tell right? haha it’s great to look young =) for me, Lee Min Ho is the best looking, but Kim Joon’s pretty cool.
