Cain & Abel has released some new stills to stir up interest as it gears up for its premiere. The series will take SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday slot over from the current drama A Star’s Lover.
The release of new photos comes with the opening of the drama’s official website (http://tv.sbs.co.kr/cain). In the show, So Ji-sub (I’m Sorry, I Love You) and Shin Hyun-joon (Last Present) play brothers and doctors, whose rocky relationship is thrown into conflict (naturally!) over two women, played by Han Ji-min (Capital Scandal) and Chae Jung-ahn (Coffee Prince).
The drama has been in the works for more than two years and was supposed to be So Ji-sub’s post-army-duty comeback project, so I suppose that puts “long-awaited” into context, doesn’t it?
Cain & Abel broadcasts its first episode on February 18.

The first pic could be a still from We Are Dating Now – considering its 7 years (and 2 years of army service) since that drama was shot, clearly the man has aged very well (or rather – is not aging at all).

I’m a fan of so ji sub and Han ji min, I don’t know but I think HJM doesn’t suit SJS pretty well because she looks a lot tinier compare to a big guy SJS. But anyway, I’m still going to like this drama since this is SJS comeback since he was discharge from the army.

Hairstyles are similar, but Han Ji Min’s character is supposed to be a North Korean refugee. Hey now, that explains why Jan Di so crazy . . . The setup is kinda intriguing though. On paper, C&A synopsis reads like a standard medical soap, but along with the refugee angle, there’s location shooting in the deserts of China. Anyway, from the pictures, it looks like HJM will pair with SJS, and CJA with SHJ.

Basically it translates to So Ji Sub dying again (Spoiler Alert! Abel doesn’t live), thus giving us almost 7 years of the Passion of the So Ji Sup. This show was originally based on a video, and SJS’s character would have died in that one too.
Word is they’re going to have a “Live Shoot So Ji Sup” Hotline during the show’s run, whereby you dear viewer will get to choose his character’s glorious death. Your choices include the following:
A) By train
B) By plain
C) By flame
D) Tonight So Ji Sup dines in hell! W00t W00t!!
I seriously hope they don’t kill him off again. Might as well just skip the whole “living” part and make him a vampire who falls in love with Mormons who smell good. Awesome!

Somehow the first photo reminded me of Im Soo Jung’s Song Eun Chae.

I think so ji sub is around 5’11 so i think han ji min is around 5’2 or 5’3… just finished watching this drama yesterday and as much as I hated the villains, what made me stick through the end is the lovely pairing of so ji sub and han ji min. Yeah han ji min do really look tiny around so ji sub it’s just that their pairing is adorable and very cute. I hope so ji sub could do romantic comedies as well, seems like he cries a lot… i think it’s really sad to see guys cry i don’t want seeing a lot of it again.
