It is Chinese New Year on Monday so I want to wish all the Happiest New year and it is raining outside (finally after over 10 days of hot weather here in So. Calif).

    Enjoy the weekend.

Just got to the dorm on Sunday….but today already going home. LOL!

=_=” Who says distance makes the heart long? I agree somewhat. I was with my family for 5 weeks and now…one week apart and I’m already longing.

been a long and tiring week, but finally I finished my exams.
What do you think javabeans about the nominees of the Baeksang this year? Do you have a personal favourite :D and why do you think it will be held so early this year unlike other years?
and yeah HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

This may not seem funny to you but I thought I’d share it anyway.
I’ve just finished watching “On Air,” one of a selection of DVD sets my brother gave me for Christmas. What’s funny about that? Well if you picture a 55yr old banker in his pinstriped suit and tie in a DVD store in China buying Korean drama DVD’s he has no clue about, it has a funny side. That was one transaction I’d have liked to have seen!
Gotta love him though, he made some good choices and did it without being asked.
So if you have a big brother who makes your life a misery, be happy to know that will change with time!

Someone explain the Korean aging rules to me. You’re 1, the moment you’re born? You get 1 yr older on Jan 1st? What happens if you’re born Jan 1st? What happens on the actual birthday?

I live in AZ so I am thrilled we are getting some rainy days this week. I started taking this improv dance class and it makes me feel like a little kid playing around. All in all it is a nice Friday:)

Ah friday again, planning on going to an auto show with my friends later

Anyway, I was looking for some new drama to watch last night online and I end up with this japanese one called “Iryu Medical Team” anyone have seen it? at first I hesitate coz I really don’t like watching people getting operated on..I always had that feeling that it’s me who’s there! haha, but i did watch it coz of its ratings and good comments, and its actually great..but i still cringe everytime i see a doctor cuts his patient!

It’s been over a year since I have been a student of any kind. Next week, I take up my studies again–no more time to watch drama series at my own leisurely pace. Javabeans, you will become my lifeline when it comes to anything related to kdrama-dom. Keep up those recaps!

Tonight I get to take my nanny-girl to her first school dance. A 3rd grader disco. It should be kind of ridiculous. Other than that I’m planning on sleeping :D Too many days this week where I had to wake up wayyy earlier than normal.

Since it is new years my mother has taken the notion to do all the new years celebration shopping and demanded that we clean house to welcome the new year as well. I’ve been scrubbing in the kitchen today. But we’ll be feasting come Monday!

The free cosmetics giveaways are insane. I was at Macy’s Herald Square today and the line practically wrapped around the entire block (and then some). And the Macys Herald Square block is quite big. People are such sticklers for free stuff. The crowd can get quite vicious at times too. The vocal ppl would heckle at ppl who cut. And then complain to anyone who’s within earshot @_@. I agree it’s annoying when ppl cut, and when that one person suddenly multiplies to 10, but is it really necessary to kick an 80 year old lady off the line? That’s low. Sure she should probably know better. But in the bigger picture what’s one more person to the hundreds of ppl that are already in front of you? >_<

TGIF! That’s all I can say.
About your song of the day, Jason Mraz’s “Butterfly” was in my heavy rotation. What a sexy and fun song. He was obviously listening to a bit of Earth, Wind and Fire.

Very Long and slow week at work.. I think Watching dramas and reading your recaps definately helps me breathe and take a break a little bit..

What happened? We got a new president for one. My school had an “almost-day off” where we watched history being made by online streaming. I think they rigged CNN up with the school daily morning news aired everyday on the computer.

Very excited. The speech was lovely. But he’s showing grit and is doing so much in his first week. Whether or not he’ll do a good job, at least he’s pushing hard. I’m hopeful.

Lunar New Year (I’m not Chinese, and celebrate it, so I frankly can’t call it Chinese. xD My white teacher was astonished to hear almost all of Asia celebrates it. He doesn’t know we don’t celebrate Christmas hugely, and all human needs some huge celebration a year, so that’s it, or that it came from the Lunar Calendar New Year’s, a calendar most Asian countries Used. Or that many countries based THEIR calendars on the moon before the current one was invented. Or through trade, the culture spread until they all look vaguely the same but with the different customs according to culture and availability. But I digress.

    President Obama.

    On Jan 20th, I was on the Mall, down by the Monument, watching Barack Obama become President Obama. It was freezing and crowded, but people were crying and dancing. It was so worth the frostbite. Jealous anyone?? ^^;

    Random question to all:

Is anybody else experiencing older versions of this page? Like sometimes when you go here, some comments or entries might be missing. And then when you hit refresh, it’s all there. Just wondering if it’s just me.
