Remember Jang Geun-seok‘s “music drama” “Yepptic & Haptic Love,” for which he sings (and raps) the theme song “Toucholic”? What is essentially a glorified music-video-slash-ad has been released — and, well, it’s pretty hilarious (unintentionally, sure, but still hilarious).
The story features a touch-phobic young man who comes into contact with a young woman and is, like, changed 4evah.
In my opinion, the song on its own (I heard it before seeing the video) kind of bites the big one. In conjunction with the video, however, it takes on a cheesetastic, campy appeal.

I am curious as to why most Korean songs have English phrases or sentences as refrains. I am listening to the godawful Boys Before Flowers OST (I know, I need something to last me through to Monday), and all the songs have English phrases. Kind of jarring and strange.

haha, this is freakin’ hilarious. when i first saw this music video yesterday, i laughed out loud cause the music was so ridiculously bad. the music video helped a lot cause it made the song a little cute-sounding, but who burst out laughing once JGS started rapping?! i know i did. no offense to him, but maybe he should stick to acting. and what’s with the ponytail?
the mp3 player looks pretty cool though.

I liked this guy since Hong Gil Dong but whats up with his picture? It looks like someone fiddled around on Photoshop and got carried away with his sideburns.

There’s just something about JGS’s voice or the way he sings that attracts me @_@ lol. I mean, I can’t say that Black Engine and now this Touch Holic are really good songs neither that he has a great voice, but still I’m pretty much addicted to these 2 songs. Love the way he says ‘Touch Holic’ and the rapping part, I thought it was someone else’s rapping until I saw the video

This all sounds like clever promotion on Samsung’s part. I don’t think that this is going to be a TV show. They are just promoting the touchable Mp3s, Is it a phone as well? I can’t read Korean.
I remember a few months back LG did something similar. They had Natasha Malthe play the title character as Scarlet in a publicity campaign, which promoted a new “TV series” (revealed on the show’s “premiere date” as the name for a new line of television sets) for LG Electronics.
The song is good though. And his hair looks so much better a little long and NOT in a ponytail!
i think it’s a nice bouncy song & he’s got a good voice, it may not be as strong so to speak but it’s good! is it just me or did anybody notice that Jang’s nose (bridge part seems swollen). I wonder if he’s got a nose job or something cause in Lovers in Prague it looked nicer! He’s cute as a button and that’s what counts! Congrats Jang!
