In a bit of a surprise, it looks like Jeon Ji-hyun (My Sassy Girl, Daisy) may renew her contract with management company Sidus HQ — even after the company was implicated in the cell-phone-cloning scandal that erupted last month.
Three men were charged in the matter, one of them the CEO of the company, Jung Hoon-tak, for having forged her SIM card to track Jeon’s calls and messages. The 27-year-old Jeon had been with Sidus since her debut as a teenager more than a decade ago, but her current contract is due to expire at the end of February.
Most thought that the actress would leave the company and seek her independence. Now it’s being floated about that Jeon may choose to stick with Sidus. One source close to the star said, “She hasn’t made her final decision yet, but I did hear that she will renew her contract rather than sign with a different agency or establish her own company.”
The source said, “They’ve resolved the misunderstandings that arose from this incident” and that “they are working together in an amicable relationship now.” To that end, Jeon asked police that CEO Jung not be punished, and according to her request, Jung and the others were booked without detainment. She’s expected to make a final decision next week.

Yssa I think so or maybe she just didn’t want the hassle of joining another company. Nevertheless I think one of the tv stations should do a story on celebrities and these working contracts that lock them in for many years and some of them are like servants to these companies and the companies will exploit them at every opportunity they can.

^ Jeon’s case itself may be old news (I mentioned it a few weeks ago too) but this particular bit was new, and the news of the men being charged came out today.
Since My Sassy Girl JJH have this freckles. Korean beauty standards maybe thinks it’s not pretty and it’s removed with Photoshop on the CM/fashion magazine.
Those freckless look as bad as mine. rrr maybe worst than mine. I guess I will try to appeciate my freckless then. I thought she have a fair smooth skin. mmm

She looks cute with the freckles. When you it on light skinned asians it looks innocent and young.
it’s cool that she went all naturale in that shot,.. and the freckles are adorable on her. they’re not flaws.
and that’s very nice of her that she didn’t want those involved be charged for what they did, though it does sound suspicious… i’ll keep my mouth shut if you stay with us sorta thing.
Is it just me but why she look so different now? I mean not her freckles. It’s cute. But her eyes. Its seem like the recent pictures of her is not her. I noticed in many other recent pictures of her in other sites too and many noticed too.
like most of you, I was fairly surprised to see her with freckles. makes me want to go back and re-watch every movie i’ve seen her in. but i don’t think they make her any less beautiful/adorable to look at. it’s still her.

Huh? How about bizarre to re-sign with agency whose people violated your privacy and forged your SIM card to track your calls and messages? How can she ever trust them again? And what was the reason for that anyway? Was it ever revealed?
Also, WOW! I too never knew about her freckles. I want to know what makeup she uses so I can go out and buy them NOW!
@ Anonymous: i’m totally on her side! maybe she weighed the pros against the cons, and sidus still came out a better option.
It’s also likely that JJH used that as a negotiating ploy in order to get a more favorable deal w/ Sidus.
