my personal fave is the one where Jihoo’s obsessed over Junpyo xD
MyMyMai,
How did you register for the Dramafever site? I put in my email address and press register and I don’t get anywhere. Is there a code or something I need to put in?
yay! Thanks javabeans!:)
@BFF
Yes, you do have to input an invite code. Only a current member can send you an invite to the site. You can only send a limited number of invites so it’s scarce. If you’re alright with posting your e-mail, I’ll give you my invite as a show of drama appreciation to a fellow Javabeans fan. ^_<
Wow, thank you so much. Here is my email soompi2008@yahoo.com.
Thank you again!
Sounds like the site is like a version of Hulu!
awww sucks how drama fever is onyl available in the US. it really looks cool.
ooohhh u guys are doing project runaway? interesting. that looks like something to catch. looks like Cain and Abel reviews are pretty good. anyone recapping that or subbing? i wanna check it out too. love SJS.
@ #21 K4Ice4Thu: sorry for the extremely late reply!!! hopefully you get this before you go in on Monday, or hopefully someone you know will alleviate your fears.
don’t worry about dress code. you can show up in sweats for all they care. and yes. drama watching will definitely ease the pain!
i’m crossing my fingers so your number doesn’t get called to go into the little room where they actually read a brief summary of the case and you talk about whether or not you’ll be biased for or against the plaintiff! good luck!!!
this week has been pretty awesome. although i’ve been so stressed -more often than i need to be. got a 98 on a test i thought i screwed up on. ha. >_>
this afternoon a cop came to our house. wooOt. boy was i scared. those guys always makes me nervous. turns out a 14 yr old stole one of our bikes. the parents returned it after apologizing, said the kid tried to runaway, and saw the open garrage and decided to use my bro’s bike as the escape vehicle. hehe. the police (with the imma wear my shades because it makes me look macho) made such a big deal and asked my dad if he wanted to press charges. of course my dad wouldn’t. the kid’s 14 for cryin’ out loud! poor kid..
having to wait at the back of a police car. **sigh. eniwei…
to all the ahjummas out there. wooOh! (*applause!) haha. i think we love BBF because we all wish to have the kind of love GJP nad GJD has. young, innocent, and true
has anybody seen the movie ‘taken?’ frickin kick ass-awesome!!!!
It’s been a rather bad week for me. And i’m still at work now. (It’s 4.28pm on a Saturday afternoon over here in Singapore.) I can’t wait to read the next recap of Boys Before Flowers! It’s like the only thing i look forward to nowadays… Thank you so much Javabeans!
It’s 2:55am here. I was in an awesome deep sleep due to a long and tiring week.now I can’t go back to sleep despite still being so sleepy. Don’t you hate it when your bladder or any bodily organs just won’t cooperate?dang!
And yeah..I’m with all of you that cannot wait for BOF!never in my life do I remember ever being excited about Monday!
yes, tgif, need to start watching bof now…anything to get my mind off
this depressing economic situation…. really, haven’t seen/experienced
as bad as this before…kdrama to the rescue!!
ughhhh…it’s been a terrible two weeks with midterms and what not. the next week DOES not look good AT ALL. i’m so behind in reading and bio lab is seriously kicking my butt in terms of my weekend workload.
anyways, i saw the first episode of cain and abel, and i’m not quite sure how i feel about it yet. it’s obviously still really early to judge how good or bad the drama is going to be, but it’s just so freaking nice to see so ji sup back in a drama that i can’t help but feel compelled to keep watching. i agree with javabeans, it is very well shot. oh and the acting from the two lead male actors is pretty legit [as expected]. also, the drama is very…so ji sup-esque [if that's even possible]. it’s giving me a bit of the same vibe as “i’m sorry, i love you,” which i was/am a hugeee fan of. my favorite part of the drama so far is the brotherly dynamic between cho-in and sun-woo.
however, i’m not that impressed by the medical aspect of the drama…it’s kind of ehh. i like the whole hospital setting thing and what not, but when they show the neuro-surgeries [w/ the fake brain, blood and what not] and talk about the medical/hospital stuff, i find it a bit unimpressive and unbelievable. i know that it’s not really a medical drama as compared to “new heart” or “general hospital 2,” but still, i wished they made it more realistic.
like javabeans mentioned, many netizens are saying how similar east of eden is to cain and abel, but i think that to liken cain and abel to east of eden is a bit of a stretch. yes, the story revolves around two brothers and this whole concept of revenge, but they’re built on two TOTALLY different foundations [if that even makes sense]. cain and abel doesn’t even give off the same vibe as eoe. also, the acting from so ji sup and shin hyun joon and even chae jung ahn gives off a different air than that which comes from the acting of the leads of eoe.
wow…that was a very very long post. my bad.
thank you javabeans for the reply…i am going to practice and remember what you said.
I think Cain and Abel’s mix of straightforward action and medical drama intrigue kinda gives this show both a novel twist and a watered down vibe. You get the medical intrigue, but not enough patient cases to keep you invested. You get an elaborate setup for So Ji Sup’s eventual kidnapping, but it kinda made me gloss over the scenes between Han Ji Min and So Ji Sup. Because of the flash-forward beginning, you become too self-conscious of how everything we’re seeing is merely setup. Plot kinda becomes tedium.
It kinda feels like the drama’s been put through Pro Tools. But it’s tasty enough for now. Anyhoo . . .
1) Congratulations to Slumdog and Milk. And I loved the actor-to-actor tributes; I hope they keep that next year.
2) However, I hoped they dropped some of the “hovering camera” bits. That didn’t work for me. Also one too many musical numbers.
3) Oh and congratulations for the Oscar for Departure!! Seeing Ryoko Hirosue onstage was culture clash AWESOME.
