Hello people…there are skinny people in the world…not everyone looks like a fat cow when they’re pregnant…and her baby will probably be a normal birth weight. Just because she is skinny does not mean she isn’t healthy…is 250 pounds healthy? I don’t think so…she looks beautiful!

She looks wonderful *__*. And I don’t think at all she’s too skinny. I didn’t gain much weight during my pregnancy. Yes I was such a “skinny pregnant woman”, too. It’s offending that other ppl think we wouldn’t feed our babies.

I hope STY has a great get-to-know-time, when her little one is born <33

Wow – she looks SO good at 8 months. Just b/c it looks like she hasn’t gained a lot of weight, does not mean that the baby won’t be healthy. Actually – babies in the womb gain most of their weight in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy – week 37-40 (if you make it that far). About 1/2 pound or more per week. So even if the baby is 5 lbs at 8 months, could be 7+ lbs at birth. One of my friends, also Korean, she did not look like she was showing much at all at 8+ months – and her baby was 8+ lbs at birth and now in 95% percentile for height & weight at just a few months old. So it’s hard to tell by just looking. Even a small baby at birth can gain a lot of weight after they are born. No reason to worry. =)

Preggo glow is great- good skin & hair… that all goes away after birth. but the boobs get much bigger LOL.

For the record I know several women who didn’t gain much weight during their pregnancies and none of them were trying to “stay thin.”

Some women simply don’t gain that much fat.

she’s probably carrying a boy.

for whatever reason, bellies with male babies tend to be somewhat smaller and more pointy, bellies with female babies – broader and more spread-out, padded at the sides (ie overall belly just looks a lot bigger).

all the best for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby to them both!
