Choi Ji-woo and Lee Jin-wook promoting Air City in 2007
Whoa. This is unexpected.
News has just come out that Choi Ji-woo is dating Lee Jin-wook, with whom she starred in the 2007 airport action drama Air City.
This may turn into one of these developing/changing stories, because while Choi’s rep made the statement to a news source, apparently Lee Jin-wook’s side is having trouble contacting the actor, who is lying low as the story breaks.
The couple reportedly met on the set of Air City and have been dating quietly these past two years. The fact was revealed by Choi’s representative from entertainment company Olive Nine in an on-the-record interview.
Huh. I remember rooting for their romance in Air City, even though I LOVE Lee Jung-jae and thought she had good chemistry with him (I just preferred Lee Jin-wook’s character). But she always did seem like a big sister more than a love interest in the drama, emphasized by their six-year age difference. Still, if it’s true (and it looks like it is), good for them.
The 34-year-old Choi (Korean age; she was born in 1975) was most recently in SBS’s A Star’s Lover, while 28-year-old Lee is acting in the SBS weekend series City of Glass (or Glass Castle). He is expected to enlist for his mandatory army service in the coming year.

Although this breaks my wittle heart (sobbing here*) because I am so infatuated with him, I’m happy for HER. She is so pretty and seemed down to earth any guy would be so lucky to have her as a girlfriend. I actually giggled with the fact that she is older. Because it is a little bit more exciting perhaps?
She has wealth, fame, status,beauty, and kind personality. He has charisma, good looks, uprising career, and caring personality. They both are fortunate to have each other. Congrats!

I’m so happy for Ji Woo & Jin Wook (THE 2 JWs), They look great together. You should watch them in the Andre Kim Fashion Show of Nov. 2007 in You Tube. They looked like real bride & groom. Perfect match. They both have the same thoughts, same lifestyle & same religious beliefs. Ji Woo is not that old & she looks young. People think she’s old because she has been in the entertainment business for 14 years, but what they don’t know is that she started at a very young age. I read that she was the youngest contestant selected in the MBC 23rd Open audition. I just hope & pray that they continue their relationship. Don’t worry about the media & the envious anti fans. Nina, let’s not put judgment on people.. Only God can judge us.. Ji Woo is not that old. She just has been in entertainment business for a long time. She started very young. Let’s just congratulate them. Be nice to people & they’ll be nice to you. Lee Jin Wook adores Ji Woo since Air City. She’s not only beautiful outside, but she very beautiful inside (a quality she’s known for because she ‘s kind, humble, charitable & religious), I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Cjw’s a terrific actress and she has made me one of her biggest fans. Forever. Period. But to me, she’s not even that beautiful and she, like many others, has that kind of delicate skin and bone structure that does not stand the test of time.
Plus, she’s too thin. Also, she ‘s made to cry, cry and cry. I think that makes her look haggard- thus the ‘old’ look. And haven’t you read how merciless the camera and lights are to actors’ faces ? (of course that does not make her less of a good actress-I’d still love her and her acting)
Give CJW a break.

I think it will do just the opposite. One of the reasons (if not the only )viewers love SL is attributed to the emotional connection between the lead actors. They were so convincing that viewers had problems distinguishing acting from reality. The recent news abt LJW and CJW, which came out a week after SL ended, will dampen the fantasy of many SL viewers and future viewers. Btw, LJW and CJW haven’t been dating for two years. In her recent interview, she claimed that they have just been going out recently. I don’t know ..the timing of this news broke sounds fishy to me.
Choi Ji Woo is a beautiful, talented, charismatic actress. It is due to her that I was introduced to Kdrama. I have been watching Kdramas for the last year, i have not seen one actress able to act as naturally or as beautifully as her. She connects with the audience. Unlike many other Korean actresses, she does not overact (my opinion). I have seen most of her dramas, i can’t find the older ones. As a fan, i can say that she is the only actress that makes me wait for her next drama simply because she has not disappointed me in her selection.
This recent news of her dating is great. I think it will not affect the rating of SL. She was so convincing in her role that many of her fans believed that there is something going on with the lead actor. The sizzling chemistry had me also convinced that they were attracted to each other. However, i watched SL because of her, the actor and the story, and not for the assumption that the lead actors have feelings for each other. The drama, SL, was one of the most enjoyable, entertainting, charistmatic that i have seen in recent times.
Thanks to her, i am a fan of korean dramas. Koreans should be proud to have someone like her, in introducing Korea to non-Koreans.

the point is she’s loved not for her looks(to me, she’s sweet looking – not Kim Tae Hee gorgeous) but more for her acting-But she certainly don’t look like LJW’s mom or botoxed!
