This isn’t really a before-and-after. The photo in the traditional dress is from her currently running drama series (filmed over the past several months), and the photo at the top was taken recently. It’s more just photography and makeup, methinks.

I’ve never seen her in any movie, drama, etc… but what is the time difference between the ‘before’ pic and the ‘femme fatale’ pic? I heard it’s common in S. Korea, and I don’t really care, but did she have surgery done in her face? The nose most notably. She’s already pretty in the ‘before’ pic, why get surgery?

i disgree with you on “Yoon has always had a clean and pure image..” because i’ve seen her in movies before where she’s baring her breasts and butt naked doing sex scenes. I always saw her as…’oh the girl that likes to get down dirty’ lol

Oh… wanted to add more to the comments & clarification by Dave, Javabeans and quicksilver… yups she was in Old Boy, Beastie Boys (Moonlight it Seoul) and A Good Day to have an Affair and cameo in Sympathy for Lady Vengence as well(if I did not recall wrongly).

I like that she, Kang Hye Jung,Gong Hyo Jin , Bae Doo Na are “risk taker” actress of this generation… their different with their choices in movie, dramas and well even the red carpet compared to the other “safer” actress in general.

But that hair and make up on that pix above… hmmm need some getting use to.

yes yes at # 5…let’s not forget her role in beastie boys…but all in all..she’s a pretty good actress with a lot of charm…some of her roles have been somewhat off kilter (uh…like erotic???) but at the same time, she chooses challenging roles, which i admire…she’s pretty great in return of iljimae!
