My perception is that SBS, for years, was actually using Daemul to land Lee Young Ae, not the other way around. They’ve offered the project to her repeatedly.

@Cosmopolite,

Lead female heroine is the first Korean female presidential candidate. Male gigolo gets hired by opposing forces in order to seduce and eliminate her from contention. The original manhwa was written for a mature audience, and it has some racy bits in there. The casting of GHJ/KSW would have been a good fit, but it won’t happen unless they wait until next year. And at that point, Gong Yoo may be coming back and . . .

It’s better to lead this drama with same cast…… I know and I belief that they much fit with this….there we’re good and professional actor’s even thy going to filming their individual dramas…..

I love ghj and ksw…. I think this two were the hishest paid in korea

Lee Young Ae? I would love it if it was her. I haven’t seen her in dramas for a long time. Six years? (Gah. I remember when it just came out and my mom was getting it on vid at the Korean market :O )

Queen Seon Duk is projected to run at least 50 episodes from May. Pretty much the rest of her year is booked, then.

Since before War of Money, SBS had wanted to cast Lee Young Ae in this role. Why not give it one more shot? Kim Hee Ae was also mentioned as a candidate then, and that would also be a good fit.

Interesting. Although, I must say, that cover of the manhwa is really creepy-looking. I mean, the guy is so sinister-looking and such…

If it’s the same manhwa I’m thinking about, or part of it, a while back and didn’t really like it -.- But than again, I only read a little bit of it and forgot most of it by now :/

But maybe I’ll like the drama of it ^^;;;;
