Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
Days after a teaser video was posted online (watch below) without explanation, which has been stirring renewed interest in the romance drama Boys Before Flowers, the official announcement has come for the “five years later” story touted in the clip:
A 25-minute “music drama” (read: extended music video) will wrap up the F4 saga in omnibus format, featuring the four F4 members played by Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum, and Kim Joon five years after we last left them.
This “F4 Special Edition” MV, which was filmed in secret, will be unveiled online at Mnet.com on April 28. It will also feature songs sung by each of the F4 members (the previously announced special edition OST).

To be perfectly honest, I’m kinda over it. I had my fun, thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with the drama, laughed tons and don’t regret any time spent on Boys Before Flowers. That said, I’ve moved on and all this constant dragging-out and promotional tying-in just feels unnecessary. (I know, I know, where money’s concerned, it’s never unnecessary.) I may watch it, but I don’t particularly care to see what happens — and music videos like this always feel fanfiction-y, rather than “canon,” so it doesn’t have the same narrative impact either.

Arrrggghh. My BBF fever has long gone. I managed to watch 8 eps and that’s it. Yeah, I know, that’s blasphemy for most of you and I’ll try to go through the whole thing someday (Lee Min-ho FTW!), but…can we move on already? I’ll pass and let my memories remain intact.Just got the DVD and the subs are super, better than Vikii’s.I’ll wait for the official version with Geum Jan Di in it if they would ever make a go for it. I had so much fun watching BBF that I have lost interest in watching other Kdramas for now. Nothing out there ,catches my interest at this moment. I don’t even watch LMH commercials with other girls featured as I felt he is cheating on Geum Jan Di. Wish LMH go easy on his doughnuts.I like him with a leaner face.

I think all the plaques were from the days they were at Shin Hwa High. Remember they all had these plaques on each desk during class? Group 8′s attempt at nostalgia. They probably should have made that clear though.

I gotta say that I’m a bit over BOF (it’s time to move on n’ life must go on) but I still might just watch it bcuz I want to know if any of the BOF GIRLS are gonna be in it. I think it would be weird if JD wasn’t in it …but I’m sure she’s not…cuz all the F4 boys are getting the most attention. Poor girl…I do like her and that’s the reason why I watched it!
