yeah, but can he act any better in English than in Korean? not holding my breath. regardless, viewing time is limited and football usually trumps.

@ ndegeocello #20

Oh no, I have to agree with you. I really like John Cho and I adore Tim Kang. Both of them are amazing actors and ooze sex appeal as well :)

Sadly, I don't want Daniel Henney to break out in American TV. Movies are fine, but I'd rather see him in Korean dramas, cause I tend to watch more Asian dramas/movies then I tune into shows on TV. Ah well. I'll tune into the show anyway just to see what its like. I hope it'll do good.

From the preview on CBS it seems that Henney's role is that of a silent extra rather than a leading or supporting actor. Which sucks b0lls.

Yet another Asian male actor present but not quite. Really, I am amazed that East Asians in America are not up in arms about the consistently dehumanizing representation of East and South East Asian men. I think I am noticing this more because there appears to be the beginnings of some strong roles for South Asian men -- Aziz Ansari (married to a hottie and always hitting on women) of Parks and Recreation and Asif Mandvi (as a very sexy intellectual) of The Daily Show and whatshisname Jack's secretary in 30 Rock as well as Fareed Zakaria with his own show on CNN (?) (and of course there are Lost and Hero, but those are more Look-at-us-we-are-representing-different races, quota type of service show -- that is, they represent a lot of minorities, and Asians are one of them, so I don't take those two shows as representative of much).

Anyway, guys, don't get too excited -- I think daniel has a bit role in the show.

He looks gorgeous -- GORGEOUS -- in the microsecond he is on screen in tne almost 3 minute preview.

I still support him 100%. Fighting!

I don't watch much TV ever since my beloved Buffy/Angel got canceled so I doubt I'll tune in. I know I should move on but I've just given up on TV. The once a week format just doesn't work for me. I lose interest and forget to tune in if I don't have a continuous feed.

I occasionally watch Lost (which I hate BTW) because of my husband but overall we rarely watch TV these days. I find I have oodles of time to devote to reading everyone's comments on this blog, knit a sweater and reorganize my book and DVD library.

My friend who is a total TV queen was horrified when I said I've never watched even a millisecond of American Idol or Desperate Housewife.
