You are right, haikus are generally about nature. I was being silly.

It is a shame that your experience with Korean guys has been less than great (in my own experience, I have to agree with your haiku as well, in that most (but not all!) kor-american guys that I’ve met seem to be kind of messed up too, and I am included in that group). I’d like to tell you that we get better with age, but I’ve not seen it for the most part. There are a lot of reasons (excuses, really) why this is, but this topic is better served on an open thread Friday.

Hahah…after all that explanation I still don’t understand. lol

Anyway, let me give it a try for haiku. I am not very good but will see.

buahaha….not bad, I must say…in the pre-coffee hours of the morning

I am a guy! And binniesexuality is not against nature! And hwanniesexuality is also okay, so long as there is a connection there!

All kidding aside, I am sort of in the midst of my own awakening, as I overdose on Korean dramas and explore the interesting and cool aspects of being a Korean guy, after years and years of being the model Korean-american 2nd gen robot, and being directionless in terms of having suitable archetypes for issues surrounding what it means to be a korean-american (or an asian american) male.

Not too long ago, I watched MNIKSS (my first drama) and I was shocked to see that Binnie was cool and interesting and good looking, not at all what I had thought korean guys would be like. Watching korean actors do their thing in k-dramas has really given me a whole new world to explore, and of course, I have started to develop “attachments” to certain of these actors.

For example, even though I haven’t found an opportunity to say it yet, I’ve stored away Binnie phrases like, “ha ji mal-la-myun… ha ji ma!” (“If I tell you not to do it, then just don’t do it!” – MNIKSS Episode 7). LOL. And, finding out that Kang Ji Hwan and I have a spiritual connection was another shock (was it fate?), and that has led to terroritorial battles between confused dramabeans souls who think that KJH belongs to them, when it’s clearly not true.

I shudder to think of what will happen once we start to watch Triple. Hopefully, there won’t be any connection to be made between me and YKS, and then we can avoid all unnecessary bloodshed on dramabeans.

Firstly, Yoon Kye-sang… I loved his performances in Who Are you, Crazy For You (he’s proven his dramatic prowess here, made me cry buckets) and She is 19. He could move from comedy to drama so smoothly as in Who Are You.

Secondly, the director of Coffee Prince, and

Thirdly, The Voice

And I say Amen! to those who love YKS’s smile; even the female lead in Crazy For You acknowledged his captivating smile in her dialogue.

I sure hope javabeans will recap this.
