Kim Bum and Kim Byul’s movie kiss

As seen in these newly released stills, the action drama film Bisang [or Flight, or 비상] features a kiss between its two actors, almost-20-year-old hot commodity Kim Bum and 22-year-old Kim Byul.

The film is described as exploring the themes of young angst, love, pain, and maturation. Kim Bum (Boys Before Flowers, I Like It Hot) plays a young aspiring actor who dreams of being the best, while Kim Byul (Baby and I, Strongest Chil Woo) plays a “pure soul” who has an unhappy family life. The kiss scene follows the confirmation of the two characters’ feelings for each other.

The movie is directed by a relatively new director, Park Jung-hoon, whose last work was a 2007 short film A Day With Mr. 00. It also stars Bae Soo-bin of the currently airing weekend drama Brilliant Legacy.

The movie began principal photography on April 26 and is currently well into filming. It plans for a theatrical release in the latter half of 2009.

    Even when I am watching Hanadan, I can’t let go of the feeling it’s icky seeing him with a girl….but that also makes me laugh, it’s not like he should be with a boy :P

He’s mine! *lol* OK, now that I’m done being all possesive over this really hot guy that’s too young for me, whose language I don’t speak, and who I’ll never, ever meet….OF COURSE I’m going to see this movie. Assuming, of course, that my K-Drama Mama sends me this movie eventually, and assuming I ever get back to 5 day (instead of 6 & 7 day) work weeks, and can make time to watch the OTHER great movies she’s sent me!

    I adore Kim Byul since Strongest Chil Woo. Hardly recognize her from that picture. This girl is as cute as a button and acts pretty well. I think she’s about 1.5 year older than baby face Kim Bum. Interesting to see how this pairing works out.

    Don’t you think it’s nice to see Kim Bum and Kim So Eun in another KDrama or even in a film? I think they both managed to capture the attention of the viewers in Boys Over Flowers so I think a spin-off for both of them is a good idea. :)

    #60 Agree with that one! Kim Bum and Kim So Eun’s storyline in BOF are somewhat disappointing…that’s why I’ve been craving for a KDrama of their own. I think it would be very nice to see them again but not just as supporting characters but as the main ones! :)

    awww… This makes me kinda sad. I don’t know, but for me, Kim Bum’s still young. Wahahaha… Coz’ he’s like older than me by almost 9 months only? And I feel that I’m still young… LOL.
    Anyway,I like him better with Kim So Eun. Even if he acted like a playboy in BOF, I still think that his relationship with Ga-Eul was of the innocent and pure type.
    I think Kim So Eun is modest and innocent in real life too. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why we haven’t seen her kiss someone on TV yet (at least I haven’t seen her do that yet, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).
