Nothing have grabbed my attention ever since Jumong but today I watched the first 2 episode of Queen Seon-deok and I must say it gave me the tingles and I'm really looking forward for next week. I hope the great acting and great directing continues on and on! Probably one of the best korean sageuks I have watched in a long time (being surrounded by it all my life). It really is what it is all hyped up to be. (Except that CG-ed egg. I was hoping they werent going to follow the modern trend of CG-ing. but. yeah. Thats only it. The costumes dont look plasticy costume stuff, they really do look fitting. I appreciate that.) I feel like with her performance in this drama coupled with her quirky role in her latest movie she is slowly pushing her way into more celebrated Korean cinema. And as a Jeong Ryeo Won fan Im inclined to think she may be more Kim Ki-Duk and less Kwak Jae-yong if I can make that metaphor.
